Bought this for my 9 year old and while he's typically not rough on things, the grommets on the side pouches came loose within a week after the first use. However, the ones on the dark blue one that my 6 year old uses, are still intact and he's certainly less gentle than his brother. Other than that, we like the bags. They fit our bentgo boxes well and it still has room for other items. Seems like they will make it through the school year. I would recommend.

I bought this for my son because he likes to have a water bottle with his lunch and the strap comes in very useful since he has so much to carry already.
