Works well
I've owned this for several years and got this for a gift. Bulky to store but I like the old-fashioned design. Sifts well.

Excellent product; excellent price
Never again did I think I would need a sifter, but when the recipe called for it I went right to Amazon and found one. The kind my momma used when I was a girl. This sifter works exactly the same way, is very sturdy, and one squirt with the faucet and it is cleaned up and ready for the next recipe! I love it and recommend it!

Does the job. Not fancy, could be built stronger, but better than the alternatives available on the market locally or online!
Compared to the other generally available type of sifter that employs a squeeze-mechanism in the handle, this is far and away superior, for 2 reasons. (1) This one is cleanable!!! Because it has only one screen at the bottom, all of the flour or other material can be easily washed out when you are done sifting. The squeeze-style sifters use multiple permanently pressed-in screens, and are prone to having materials getting stuck in between but never sifting all the way through. (2) This one is much easier on the fingers and hands. My wife has hand issues that would make using repetitive squeezing of the other sifter type impossible. Even I found that style to be extremely fatiguing very quickly when sifting even a small amount of flour. This sifter, on the other hand, with a crank style sifter mechanism, is very easy to use for longer periods of time without causing undue fatigue to the hands and fingers.I wish I could have found a better made sifter in general, with a heavier duty construction and sifting mechanism, but as I was unable to find such a tool, this was the best I could find, and so far it seems to satisfy the need.

As expected…
Can’t speak for quality after running through the dishwasher yet but seems to be decent quality! There’s a spinning handle on it that’s easy to use.

A classic!
Our Kiwanis Club makes and sells fried dough for fundraisers and we serve it with powdered sugar on top. This metal sifter is my favorite as it doesn’t get clogged up and doesn’t hurt my hand.We just shake it clean and store it in a large plastic bag until the next event!

Good Quality
Good quality stainless steel. This is very similar to the flour sifter that my mother used when I was growing up.

Don't love the crank mechanism. I prefer the squeeze grip.
There were a few things I didn't care for about this item. First off it is a little small. Meaning you have to put in the flour or powdered sugar in really small batches. Second is what I really didn't like. I didn't like the crank mechanism. It was cumbersome and it created little hard balls of powdered sugar after cranking. Then you have to bust up the little hard balls with your fingers or just pitch them.

Crank Is Difficult To Turn
The material feels a bit flimsy but holds up, I put it in the dishwasher and it survived unharmed so very happy about that. It’s the crank that is the problem. It jams and is not a fluid motion, it also pushes the flour up to one side so you have to shake it and then reverse to bring it back down. It’s definitely not high quality but eventually gets the job done.

Dollar store quality, not worth it
This is dollar store quality at best. It's built incredibly flimsy, feels cheap, and the crank turns very stiff. I almost never leave bad reviews and this will probably be lost in the sea of positive ones but the price gouge is ridiculous.

Smaller than I thought
Although it says 3 cups...it would actually hold 3 cups in the flour was right to the top...which is not the best given that as soon as you turn the handle you get flour everywhere.
