This thing is bulletproof!
This is really good iPhone case and works great on my iPhone 17 Pro. I love the premium DuPont Kevlar - I really like the way it feels: very light weight and tough. I have mixed feelings about the smudge resistant UV coating on the Kevlar. I like that it repels liquids (and apparently sun rays) but it is slick to the touch which some might consider a downside to it slipping out of your hand, but the sides are rubber so I don't have an issue with it slipping. I also really like the tactile buttons that work flawlessly for all their intended uses including camera magnification, volume control, etc. The mag save ring also works as it should and allows your phone to easily connect magnetically as you need. On the downside: The raised area around the camera lens helps but it still leaves your camera lenses exposed if you dropped it hit something directly on one of the lenses. At this price point, I wish they at least gave you a lens protector like many competing cases offer. At the time I bought this for $60 and I see the price has significantly gone down which is much more palatable that what I got mine for. This is is overall a really good, high-quality, durable and good looking case for my iPhone 17 Pro ...and it's bulletproof (so I can stop worrying about getting shot in the A$$ now 😂) - what could be better!!?

A beautiful, well designed and constructed case
Most iPhone cases are a necessary evil. They sacrifice the aesthetics of a bare iPhone in favor of protection. The BENKS cases, specifically the Montage ArmorPro case and the ArmorGrid ArmorPro case, are the first cases that actually make my new iPhone 17 Pro look better than when the phone is bare. The black/gray patterned Kevlar back, the silver metal frame around the camera plateau, and the silver metal buttons all look amazing, complementing the aesthetics of my silver iPhone. The button action is responsive and reliable, though not best-in-class. The surface of the Camera Control is plastic rather than glass, the one material choice that seems like a cut corner. All things considered, the buttons look and work great. The red highlight on the Action Button is a really nice detail that adds to the case's high end look. Although part of BENKS' ArmorPro lineup, the case is low profile and adds less bulk than any other case I've previously used. While this is nice, less bulk equals less protection. This is the one aspect of the design that gives me pause. There are small cavities in the case's corners that are designed to reduce the force of impacts, but that's about it. I don't drop my iPhones often, but when I do it always seems to be down a stairway or when standing on a ladder. The Nomad Rugged Case or the Peak Design GNAR case are options in the same price range that, while not as beautiful, look decent and offer more protection. The fit of the case is great. My phone snaps in and stays in. All the cutouts are perfect. In another example of the precision with which the case is made, there is no big cutout for each speaker along the bottom edge of the case. Instead there are 10 small holes which line up perfectly with the speaker grills on my iPhone. This case also lacks an opening for a lanyard—a bummer if you want to use a lanyard with it, but one less hole to let in dirt and grit if you're not a lanyard person. I don't use a lanyard so I appreciate that there are fewer unnecessary holes in its design. This case is easy to recommend and would get 6 stars if this were an option. It is easy to recommend.

Premium, sleek, and durable
The ArmorPro case from Benks feels premium right out of the box. The Kevlar pattern not only looks sleek and professional, but also has a nice texture that feels great in the hand. It adds grip without being bulky, and the slim profile makes it perfect for a professional setting. Despite being slim compared to other cases, it still offers solid protection. It can handle occasional drops without a problem. The metal trim around the camera bump is also raised to prevent the cameras from scratching. If you’re looking for a case that’s slim, stylish, and durable without compromising on protection, this is definitely one to consider.

Cheap Looking Crooked Design. Very Poor Quality Control and Standards for a $60 case
I know to some, what I am going to say is pretty nitpicky, but when purchasing a premium case, you expect the final product to be exceptional. Unfortunately, the BENKS Prestige looks like a $10 case they are trying to charge $60 for. When I received the case, I immediately noticed that the design weave was crooked. Out of curiosity, I measured it, and over the width of the case, it is off by an 1/8 inch (around 3mm). I wrote to BENKS about the issue, and they replied about how complex their case manufacturing is, and that the offset I measured was well within their quality control variance. I'm sorry, but the case is less than 3 inches wide. If I personally made something that deviated by an 1/8 inch in such a small span, I'd be completely embarrassed. I certainly wouldn't try to sell that to a customer! If BENKS Quality Control thinks a 4% variance is acceptable tolerance on a premium product, I can see why other 1 star reviews on here report issues with other parts of this case breaking. It is apparent BENKS Quality Control is a joke and I wouldn't trust any of the marketing hype they have listed. I ended up returning this under Amazon's return policy. I won't be looking at BENKS products again.

Finally, a Case That Gets Everything Right.
As a design engineer, I'm picky about cases, but this one from BENKS is genuinely impressive. It nails the three things that matter most: function, feel, and protection. Function: The camera button is perfect. It's perfectly placed, has a great tactile click, and makes holding the phone to take photos feel like using a real camera. It's a lot more stable than tapping the screen and something I really appreciate. Feel: The Kevlar material is a great touch. It has a unique texture that's really grippy but still feels premium, and the case is surprisingly slim. It doesn't add a ton of bulk, which is a huge plus. Protection: The fit is perfect, with zero give. You can tell it's well-made and will actually protect the phone from a drop. MagSafe connection is strong, and all the buttons are clicky and responsive. It's rare to find a case that actually makes the phone better to use, but this one does. It's an easy 5 stars. Well done, BENKS.

This is one nice case!
First off this is an absolutely beautiful case! It’s silky smooth I mean this case feels amazing in your hand.. the metal buttons are high quality and very comfortable and clicky.. the metal band around the camera bump is above the lens and looks high quality. The camera button on the side works perfectly with adjusting the zoom. Inside the case around the sides of phone has a nice soft rubber to protect it in a drop and I don’t worry that’s it’s going to mark up the phone, the magnet is strong and I don’t see my wallet ever falling off it.. This is a very thin case, I’d say half the thickness of the Apple silicon case. Has a very slight edge over the top of the screen so it not going be a problem putting face down on a table.. I wanted to give it 5 stars but here is my concern, this case is a bit loose on my phone, I can easily lift the edges of it off it it is not a tight fit at all.. Dirt and sand is going to get behind it and be grinding against the phone not to mention I fear a high drop might make the phone fall out.. Hopefully Benks addresses this because other than that this is the best case I’ve ever used..

Premium Kevlar case!
The Prestige colorway with clicky metal buttons and metal camera frame looks very premium. The bumpy feeling from the woven Kevlar feels great in hand and provides great grip. The case is only about 35 grams which keeps the phone feeling lightweight and doesn’t add too much bulk with adequate protection. MagSafe strength is really strong as well. Overall satisfied with this case!

Not really worth the price
I used to own the 15 pro and the BENKS Kevlar case was such great quality that I ordered 2 throughout the 2 years I owned the phone. It was grippy, the volume buttons were extremely tactile and thorough, the case was just overall the best. However, for the 17 pro max, I believe they cut a ton of corners and reduced the quality. For starters, the overall feel of the case is slippery. Secondly, the buttons are really bad. If you shake the phone you hear a little jittery noise and pressing the button is harder than pressing the button without the case. It’s the worse aspect of the case. Im deeply saddened that my favorite case went down this way. So with that said, I don’t really recommend it. Sorry Benks, but for the price you charge, this is really unacceptable.
