Great book and a great series to help teach and reinforce values in your kiddo. I bought this for my son (6) with ADHD/ODD and it has helped us open the conversation. I always remind him what would diggers do has learned and he thinks about his next moves.

My 5 year old son had been having a hard time in class due to a move into a new house. He was acting out towards his teachers and classmates by yelling, using mean words, hitting, and not listening. We found a couple of the Dragon Series books to read together, hoping to find a way to explain these feelings and handle them in a way he would understand. We loved them! We bought the "Teach Your Dragon To Understand Consequences" and "Train Your Angry Dragon" books and read them multiple times in the first sitting. They started a wonderful and productive dialogue between us and our son. His teacher had us bring them in and she read them to the whole class; all of the kids loved them and are asking for more! The best social-emotional children's books I've been able to find, and a fun read! Will definitely be buying more!

This book is adorable! What a great way to help kids understand consequences. The drawings are cute and the topics are relatable. The book held our attention and we had some great discussions about what we saw in the drawings and what the consequences were. We will be asking for a few more of these for my 3.5 year old’s up coming Birthday!

My 3 1/2 year old has told me to write that he loves all of this book! He loves the story, the pictures and all the characters. This is his 3rd train your dragon book. He enjoys all of them and has requested more.As his parent, I like these books because they give us an age appropriate place to start talking about big life ethics and philosophy. This is where I start helping him grow into a person who will leave the world better than what he found it.

We loved this for our five year old. We also bought the stuffed animal and told him that was his dragon to teach now. We felt this really drove the lesson home. We can tell he understands and is very engaged.
