More expensive than the plastic models but this is far superior than the cheaper ones in every way. No flaking, melting, and easy to clean. Just an outstanding product that no one will regret purchasing. I am greatly pleased with this turner and would recommend it to anyone who has plastic ones that basically become an unhealthy seasoning in their food as they use it. A wonderful addition to my kitchen and worth every single cent it cost. Works great and has absolutely no negative features. Buy it and you will never be sorry. Oxo has outdone itself with this utensil and I will seek out their brand of excellent products in the future. Outstanding in all ways and exceeds all my expectations of what a turner can be. I can't believe I ever used a plastic turner in the past when this model was available. A superb turner of incredible quality and superior engineering design. So, I hate little spoons. Those little ones you get at Walmart or wherever. They are aweful. And it's hard to tell from the description if you're buying a big or a small one. (So many mistakes.). This is a big spoon! Like mashed potatoes big, or stir a huge stockpot of vegetables big. It's sturdy, it's not going to bend or break. Handle's comfortable.

This is a really nice spatula! It has a high quality metal turner, with a thick rubbery handle.I bought it because all of our plastic spatulas end up with the edges melting, which leaves a black residue that needs to be scraped off after they go through the dishwasher. Our new set of pots and pans promise they're safe to use with metal utensils, so I took the chance and bought something that wouldn't melt from flipping pancakes. So far, it's working out beautifully. Cleans up great in the dishwasher, too.Definitely recommended!

I bought this for use with a cast iron skillet. The turner goes well with that. Not recommended for use with a non-stick coated surface pan. Had a problem finding a steel turner in the local stores so turned to Amazon.com and am glad I did. The soft plastic handle provides excellent grip. The head has no problem getting under food items in the skillet, because it can be thinner than plastic yet is still strong; and it turns large or small items with precision and ease. The stainless steel turner hand washes easily and it is dishwasher safe. It appears to be quite durable. A steel turner is far better than plastic, in my opinion.

I had hoped to get a replacement for an old spatula I had whose handle had broken due to dropping on concrete; unfortunately, this one is not it. It is a fine spatula, though: sturdy, turns chops well, generally does the job. It is a little longer than I expected, and the metal lacks flexibility, if that is what you are looking for. The end is curved somewhat: if it were straight, the pan-scraping function would be improved. Nevertheless, this will be a very useful tool.

This spatula is not flashy or exciting, but it does exactly what you want it to do. It's surprisingly hard to find a spatula that isn't too huge and has the right level of rigidity. This one hits the spot. It's sturdy and does what it's supposed to. I'm very happy with it!

It's a spatula, and it does what a spatula should do.It feels pretty sturdy in my hands, and it's just the right size for me. The slots are large enough that they haven't clogged up yet, but I also haven't cooked anything incredibly runny lately.But basically, it's a spatula, and it has been pretty useful in my kitchen. I'll likely buy another if this one ever breaks, but I'd be surprised if it does. Because, you know, it's a spatula.

I had gotten this for cookies, but it is a little on the thick side of what I was looking for. It is wonderful for pancakes, tater tots and roasted veggies. The handle is comfortable and I trust this brand for its longevity of utensils. If you are looking for a comfortable steel turner, this one is for you. I will still be on my quest for the best cookie turner....which I prefer to be very thin.
