This is a best book to practice to improve maths and also and to prepare for examination
This is such a book in which a methods and all written so systematically so the person can understand while solving the sum . It also has difficult sum and easy to learn. A best book for maths I prefer.

Very helpful book for my child...the way basics of maths in each chapter are explained through examples are incredible... Very easy in understanding... Step by step solution for any question. Practice questions also include tricky questions to cover all levels.

Relates more to Indian premises than overseas
I bought class 6 and 7. They are both solid. Some say RD Sharma is the "Gold standard" of maths textbook. They are well presented and topics well covered. However, I note that RD Sharma caters more for their local Indian market more than overseas. For instance, currency in the exercises are in Indian rupees. It may be difficult for Australian students to relate to an exercise where it says, "One pencil costs Rs 160 and a box of pencils costs Rs 1,500." Whereas, a box of pencils in Australia costs only a few dollars.
