I’ve had this boot dryer for about 18 months and used it almost daily during winter months when my husband worked outdoors and otherwise about once a month. It’s so quiet that you will question if it’s even on; you absolutely cannot hear it! It typically takes 4 - 6 hours to dry sneakers and 8 + hours to dry heavy-duty work boots. It’s great for when I wash my sneakers so they don’t get warped in a regular dryer. I use it for lots of other items as well, such as gloves, handbags, baseball caps, and belt bags. Basically anything that you don’t want to tumble in a dryer and will fit! it is super lightweight, but slightly bulky, but it fits well behind our front door (photos for reference, men’s boots pictured are size 11). Excellent product for the money!!!

I’ve had the PEET Boot Dryer for a while now, and it really works. After a few hours, my boots are completely dry and nice and warm—perfect for colder months. It also helps cut down on odors by getting rid of moisture. It’s silent, uses very little electricity, and I just leave it running overnight without worrying about it.

Works great, I used these daily to dry my boots after a long day of work. By the next morning they are always dry and warm. Highly recommend. Also it is indeed silent to the point I was unsure it was working, but it is.

I play tennis 4-5 times a week and wear sneakers doing water sports 5-6 times a week. Needless to say, my shoes are usually mildly damp to completely wet after playing sports. This product is a life saver. It is great to come back to your shoes after sitting on this product over night are they are dry and slightly warm. You can barely feel any heat coming out of the product but like clock work, my shoes are dry the next day. Great product, thank you.

These are great, built well, and not too expensive. We use them a lot for baseball cleats and gym shoes in the rain. The only thing I wish it had was a timer built in, but otherwise it's perfect. Not too big, sits by our bench, I couldn't live without one now.

I've ruined shoes and boots in the past by repeatedly getting them wet inside and out and not being able to dry them effectively. Having the inside of footwear be damp for extended periods of time all but guarantees that they'll eventually become smelly and probably unhealthy to wear.The PEET boot drier is an amazingly simple but effective device. When I first unpacked it, it was so lightweight and simple that I thought, "Gee I could've made one of these myself". It comes with a plastic base, two sections of extension pipe and two angled sections that the footwear hangs on that all slide together. Once assembled, it all stays together well and is stable even with heavier boots on it.When you plug this in, prepare to be initially underwhelmed. I'm docking a star because there is no power switch or power indicator light and, when you plug it in, you won't hear, feel, or see anything to suggest that it's on. Give it some time, though, and it does indeed produce a gentle heat that dries footwear, prevents or kills damp-loving bacteria and has your boots or shoes nicely warmed up for the next time you want to use them. The heat never becomes hot, only warm, so drying footwear is going to best done when you can spare the shoes or boots for at least 8-12 hours. The good part about the low heat is that there is no chance you're going to overdry or damage the footwear. Airflow is created by convection from the low-wattage heating source in the base, so this unit is completely silent and has no moving parts to wear out. Could you make one yourself? Sure, but it's easier to get this one. PEET also sells an attachment to dry gloves that's available here on Amazon and I plan to try that out soon.

The perfect gift for someone in construction. My boyfriend loves his. Really does help with oder and airflow. He uses this every single night for his work boots. Extremely quiet. Can’t hear it at all when plugged in. Easy to assemble. Super sturdy as well. One of the best things I got him.

I used the product for a couple of weeks before writing this review. I wanted to test it under worse case scenario situations (for the type of use I need it for).My main application is for drying cycling and running shoes. I live in the Houston area, it is super humid and often running or cycling outdoors causes shoes to get completely soaked. In addition, I do multi hour indoor cycling which also results in completely wet shoes by the end of the session. (You can hear your foot slashing in the shoe). This results into your shoes essentially never completely drying from session to session ( even when waiting 2-3 days ). This in turn results in 3 issues: 1) seriously stinky shoes 2) gross feeling every time you wear the shoes due to the moisture 3) shoe performance issues such as loss of structural stiffness etc. this product addresses this issues to 90%+. I was pleasantly surprised on how well it works. It is completely silent. As others have mentioned you plug it in and nothing really happens... no noise whatsoever. It slowly heats up and it has a very gentle flow that you cannot even feel. For me that’s a huge advantage because it is very gentle with the shoes ( leather or other materials) . As advertised this will not dry shoes in record time... that’s not how it is designed to work. But if you leave the shoes overnight then it will gently warm them up, and eventually completely dry them in a few hrs(4-5 hrs) then after that the extra time helps remove any scents from the shoes... I was pleasantly surprised as to how effective that was. As I mentioned I have already used it in a few occasions with cycling and running shoes following really “wet” conditions and the results were solid. It is a game changer for maintaining dry , scent free shoes that are ready to perform every day.The product is designed to stay plugged 24/7. You will not know is there .I am not sure if it would work with industrial type heavy leather boots that are wet but it works perfect for my need and for that I highly recommend the product.
