Creative Writing Book Hardcover-spiral

I am using this for my homeschool...it really goes along with the 8th grade standards of ELA for Florida.

This book was given to the 10 year old winner of a poetry competition and he spent the rest of the ceremony with his nose in it and a big smile on his face.

Bought for a girl who loves to write and she loves it. It is inspiring her to write more of her own stories. Bought to go with a set of pens and an A4 notebook for a birthday present.

This was a gift for a newly turned 7 year old. The response was "epic!" and it's been put to good use straight away.It's what you expect from Usborne - great presentation, quality cover and attractive, child friendly illustrations. There are instructions and suggestions for different aspects of story writing (character development, plot, etc) and space for the child to write.My only criticism is that, for the target age group, the writing space is quite small, considering at that age, their writing tends to be quite big and messy!

I have a daughter who wants to be an author when she grows up. She's constantly writing her own stories at home and at school. She likes this book and it seems to have given her a few new ideas.
