it works. very useful stuff, but you need a lot, I had to go over the job several times, it is definitely best to really slap it on first time. MIght be worth cleaning dirty surfaces with a brush beforehand as well.

Didnt work very well, even after having given it plenty of time to work.

Awful stuff. Did take some of the artex off but is literally the stickiest substance known to man. Has also left a sticky residue behind that won’t scrape off properly and is taking days to dry. Will probably have to get a plasterer in to sort out this mess and just plaster over it.

I really wanted to hate this stuff, it’s stinks of ammonia and has the constituency of wall paper paste. However,It Works!After having done the test to confirm free from asbestos. I was facing stripping artex, as I was feeling too cheap to pay a plasterer.This stuff just paints on and softens the artex. You apply it until you run out of artex. It works best on solid walls, the stud wall I tried this on now needs skimming.This stuff reduces dust and loosens the artex. Without it the job was noticeably tougher and dustier.Overall, it’s worth it. If you commit to removing artex without asbestos this in combination with a heavy duty scraper is probably the best way to tackle the job. Noting that it makes a particularly horrible job a little less horrible

Brilliant product removes artex with hardly any effort

it didn't do what it was supposed to do it took the top layer of paint off. It didn't take the Artex off.

Easy to use and worked well
