Smittybilt 761335 Tonneau Cover 07-15 Wrangler (JK)

So I had been looking for some sort of cover for the rear cargo area of my 2015 wrangler unlimited for some time that would both protect from the elements when we want to go topless and that would also help us be able to store things when we went out without doors or a top. The reviews seemed to tell me that this was the one to get.Let's start with the weather proofing of this item. The first day i put it on it rained while we were at Hooters for dinner. It literally rained for about 2 hours straight. Heavy rain, medium rain, light rain, we got it all and seemed like it would never stop. I had the top on as shown my first picture with the soft top up to make sure the cabin interior wouldn't get wet but i left my rear side windows at home (on purpose). I checked it in the middle of the pouring rain and the only rain that got in the vehicle was a slight bit on the rear passenger side due to the way the rain was coming down. I believe if we were driving we would have all been absolutely 100% dry the entire time as the wind would have blown it all to the back of the vehicle. So bottom line is this thing is waterproof (I'll probably spray it with waterproofing eventually just to make sure it stays waterproofed).Okay here's where this thing loses a star the fitment is tight, which is nice, but it's not 100% a correct fit and it's sloppy in some areas. For starters, as you can see in the two photos there is a HUGE crease in the top which is caused by it being so tight and not being able to go down over the seatbelt towers on the rollbar. Looks hideous to me but I guess it helps slope any water from pooling up and going towards the interior of the Jeep. Second, I wish they would have designed this to be able to work cohesively with the soft top somehow. I ended up just using the corners for the soft top and tucking the flaps for the tonneau inside of the soft top flaps so my soft top didn't bounce up and down when driving. The last complaint i have is how the area where the velcro is located isn't 100% neat. It's just kinda crumpled up in that area making it look very sloppy. Overall I still like the covers function but I'm hoping the tightness loosens up so the material doesn't rip on the seams or even worse, in the middle of the cover.For having something to cover the trunk and thwart off potential thieves I'll say this item is doing it's job. I only wish it had a few flaws fixed and it would be a perfect 5 star review. Right now I wish i could give it 3.5 because the fitment has some serious flaws so it's not quite a four but it functions great so it's not quite a three. If you're on the fence like I was, I'd say give it a shot because it seems to be the one that everyone agrees is the best available.

Looks good and very practical

This cover installed quickly with not too much effort. Once installed it seems to stretch out making next install easier.You do need a tailgate bar to seal the rear but I suppose you could go without. I recently installed a Bestop softop on my Jeep and the tailgate bar included with that top worked perfect for this cover.I haven't been caught in any deluge of rain yet so can't confirm how water tight it is but hoping it would keep out some moisture. It does look to slope toward the front of the Jeep so it may just run down there.

I thought it was a great price. And it was easier to install than some soft tops that I've put on.

This cover fit my Rubicon perfectly. It’s really good quality and covers the back of my jeep.

I love this. It gives me the ability to put stuff in the back of my Jeep when I don't have the top on.I do wish it had a way to clip the back. But I understand why they didn't make it attachable.

Makes my jeep really and sporty look

Fits great and looks amazing on my 4 door Wrangler. Great accessory for the summer months. Would definitely buy again if it ever tore it got damaged.

I have not yet installed it, but from what I see it is good quality and looks very durable. I will know the quality of the fit after installation.

Perfect fit and looks great

Mounted on an 08 JKU. Came packaged nicely. Easy to install. Fits snug, looks good. I dont have a tailgate bracket as I have the hard top. Will keep most of the rain out and keep items in the box when driving. Very fast delivery. Zipper on front edge for connecting rear seat tonneau cover or a wind curtain.

Good quality, but as soon as I pulled on the nylon tab to make it tighter, the strap stayed in my hand. Overall good item but you get what you pay for compared to a Bestop.
