Kanakadea Atlatl (Smooth Handle) and Three Six Foot Darts

Tips on 2 of the 3 darts/arrows came off after about 5 min of use. Disappointing that my first use was cut short and now I have to take the time to glue them back on. For those considering, also realize it does not have anything where gripped. It is essentially just a rounded piece of wood. My mistake, but looking at the pic, I got the impression there was a grip or even something resembling a shallow handle. Nope

I bought this as a surprise family Christmas gift. We were introduced to the atlatl during an archery class at our local nature library and had a blast. They didn't disappoint! The entire family had a blast and we can't wait to go try them again. The 6' arrows are a little longer than I recall using, but it has been awhile so it could just be my memory. It definitely takes some practice to get accurate, but it's a lot of fun to practice. I do need to find a better way to store them, because the shipping box they came in worked well for shipping, but not for storage. The feathers are getting ruffled taking it in and out of the box for use. Other than that, great product so far.
