I did not expect such a big book! I was thinking it would be a slender one, but it is huge, and has so many good ideas!! I wanted to update my recipes to match the lighter, healthier cooking we like today, and I am NOT disappointed. The recipes are clear, easy to follow, and have pictures. I have loved everything I made so far!

Beautiful, hardbound, cookbook with hundreds of great recipes.

I saw this cookbook at my sister's house and tried to talk her out of it since every dish looked great. She wouldn't give it up so I came home and looked it up on Amazon, found it right away and ordered. The book I received was like new and I have made 6 or 7 things from the book in the few weeks I've had it. Everything has tasted wonderful and the directions are clear and easy to follow. This story illustrates the beauty of using Amazon. A book from 2004 which, in the past would have been difficult to obtain, was easy to find and was in my kitchen in less than a week and at a great price. Thanks Amazon!

This cookbook is great! There are so many delicious recipes. I like that there are lots of breads and desserts in this book, you don’t always see that in light cookbooks.

Gave this as a gift and it was appreciated. Don't know if any of the recipes have been tried as yet. The book looked inviting.

I have had this book for about a month, and I am still as excited about it as I was the first day. I have told my sister about it and she ordered it and loves it as well. I have made several recipes, and have found that they were very enjoyable. The ingredients are stocked in typical grocery stores and there is little need for excessive equipment. I am a beginning cook and I feel like the book is helping me develop more experiencing with cooking, and helping me try new meal ideas.
