When i was 8 yr old..First i found two volume of 1980AD edition of this in my father's book shelf.Literally i fell in love with this book..i read each and every topic of both volume.My father brought rest of volumes from Patna book fair for me..this book changed my life..way of thinking and given me the real idea of the universe,covilisation and social system...When i see any relatives kid i srongly recommend this book to him..even gifted many on their birthdays.This book is my 1st❤

Though I did not read the entire content, topics seem to be okay for kids. However the overall style is little disappointing. More of text and less of pictures. Feels like book for adults. Quality of print and pages also suboptimal. For the price, glossy pages could have been better choice. Preferably with hardback.It's good for kids who already love reading, not for someone whom you want to develop interest in reading.

I had the complete volume when I was a kid. Needless to mention, gained lot of knowledge out of it.Although it's still good, they have reduced number of volumes to 4 from earlier 6 thus reducing the amount of information.Further, the page layout has been changed which is far less attractive for kids

This is an excellent collection of books. I recommend this collection to every children studying in class 5th to 9th. I also have a request to the publisher that they should add at least 100 multiple choice questions at the end of each book. This will help children to refresh their memory after completing the books.

Perfect for my 12 and 8 years old kids.Have not disappointed me even after 30 years.

This amazing set of five books is a treasure trove of basic knowledge that each and everyone of us should have, regardless of age. The information , though apparently basic, is both interesting and in depth. Children can gain an edge over their peers if they read up on this set.

Only 4 books are in the box. There were no free thin book and the cd in side delivery box. Delivery box was teared open from previously. I want the complete set for this book with 4 volumes , one thin book and one dvd/cd.
