For the money this is a really good guitar. The Quantum pickups have very good sound
For the money this is a really good guitar.The Quantum pickups have very good sound, not the loudest pickups but great tone.The paint job is amazing.It is very light, the old ones were heavier.The guitar came with 0.10 strings and the springs could not keeep the tension so I replaced them and added one of the original ones (4 springs in total), with 0.09 that would not be a problem I guess.The quick access to the truss rod is a cool feature bout I would have prefered a retainer bar instead.

This Mahogany Body Is Awesome
Amazing to sum up in one word... Neck, pick-ups and tremolo are awesome for the price, get it. It had some buzzing frets but after a quarter turn lifting the tremolo the buzzing went away. Cold weather from N.Y. arriving to L.A. probably had an effect. Other than that this was a great purchase. I replaced pick ups to Active EMG's and the sustain is wicked! This Mahogany Body is awesome you guys. Ibanez didn't make it easy but This was going to happen.
