I've bought a similar product by a different manufacturer and there's no doubt this hardware is far superior.

So one of my shutters above my sink kind of just crapped out on me and wouldn't stay shut. I guess, over the years, you can blame it on the fact that it's on the side of the sun, gets opened and closed for window access, and just got old.So here comes Rok hardware with this lovely replacement. First off, it's cheap as dirt with how many they give you. The magnet is VERY STRONG, and I could even use the same drilled holes from my previous magnetic catch, so installation was very easy. My shutter that used to randomly open, is now staying shut.Don't bother looking elsewhere. This is the ticket.

I have a fairly heavy closet door in my apartment, which came with a magnetic latch. The latch it has, for reasons I have just not been able to figure out, does not keep the door closed readily. This is in spite of a matching latch on a second, identical door.I purchased this two pack, putting just one right next to the original magnetic latch, and it works like a charm. Careful measuring, a couple of screws drilled into place, the plate drilled into the door, and the door stays closed with absolutely no trouble whatsoever. The magnet is strong, too. I was quite worried I'd need both because of how small they are, but I didn't.

These magnets work perfect for the door on my furnace. The door would pop open when the furnace would kick on or off.. Not sure which. They seem to be really strong and it does take effort to open that door. It's summer time and the furnace hasn't been turned on yet for the season so I assume the magnets will cure the door opening problem I did not have a problem with the screws stripping as some other reviewers had mentioned. About the only thing I questioned is the screw slot area is made of plastic. I do think that would break if the screws were tightened to much. The magnets are worth the money!

I bought 2 sets of these to replace the spring-loaded ball catch on two closets in our house. The balls would inadvertently change the pressure being applied by the spring and one of the doors finally broke from the constant pressure. Researching the different types of magnet latches, these had the highest weight for the best cost. Installation was very easy, just make sure you use the flat top screw that comes with the package for the striker plate. The two sets of round top screws are used on the magnet parts. My wife is very pleased with ease of opening the closet doors now, whereas before it was an effort to open and close the doors. The magnets are strong enough to keep the doors from opening on their own, but easy enough to open with a light pull.

We have shutters on windows and french doors. The existing magnets are all breaking from time and use. These are the exact same measurement, meaning no new holes, and the magnetic force is equal to the existing. Super happy with this product!

Easy to install and fits perfectly with my windows. These are better quality than the original hardware. Great quality and price!

Items were shipped promptly. The magnetics are very easy to install. For 15 lbs they provide perfect pull for my shutter doors.

I used this product to replace the ball catch type closet door holder and so far it's working perfectly. A lot cheaper to use the magnets then trying to replace the expensive ball catch that always needs adjusting or replacement.
