Well made sturdy product !
These truck toolbox clamps as a previous reviewer stated " Are The Bees Knees". I know this dates us old fogies, but it's true. With these there are no hole drilling into your bed rails, they secure quite tightly and are not that difficult to install. That is if you are a do it yourselfer and have a common sense application and approach of how things work. This is my first use of this style clamp, and I am very impressed. Now I read all the pages of reviews before making my purchase so I could put together in my mind where others had problems installing them and those that adapted their mechanical knowledge to overcome shortfalls. I totally agree with the reviewer that said to use some painters tape to secure the washer and nut to the clamp to help hold it so you can get the bolt started. He even showed in his review a picture of doing this. Believe me this completely did away with needing a third hand, and overcame what could have been very frustrating. It worked perfectly. As to the strength of the included bolts, I learned something from a mentor way back when I was a teenager working for an older gentleman, he said to me "Superman is Stupidman" referring to over tightening of bolts of any kind. The "two grunts and a snap of the wrist" just don't get it cause you will more than likely snap the head off the bolt. This clamp comes with nylon lock nuts, which do not require Superman to torque them down. Snug works! I was able to install all four clamps and had my truck box functional in about thirty minutes. I highly recommend these clamps for a clean install. Sorry I did not submit any pictures as I am old and technologically challenged

Great solution to replace J hooks for crossover toolboxes
Ok these are the bees knees. Installed my truck tool box on Wednesday, these came in on Saturday and my J hooks were already loose despite tightening them enough to warp the aluminum box. Anybody who has installed a truck tool box knows how lame the J hooks are. You tighten them too much and the warp the slot in the toolbox. Also, They only contact a tiny point on the lip of the bed rail. They also stick up into the air in the side channel of your tool box, taking up room where a tool could lay. Well, these have fixed all those issues. They clamp under the actual bed rail and they also place pressure on the underside of the toolbox so you can tighten them properly without bending the aluminum toolbox. They come with nylock nuts so they should stay tight. Inside the toolbox you’re only looking at a 1/2” bolt head. Only downside I can think of is that a savvy thief with a few tools “could possibly” be able to remove them while the box was closed and locked but maybe not, it’s fairly tight squeeze between the box and the truck. J hooks tighten from only inside the box so they would not be able to be loosened from the outside of the box. I don’t really think this is an issue and I don’t park my truck in places where I would need to worry about this, I Just thought it was worth mentioning.

Worked well in my Leer Top
Easy to install and easy to use.I do think there should be a torque specs for them as I think it would be easy to over tighten. But, doing great thus far.

Best to install toward the cab first
They are very nice and feel heavy, the two towards the cab are a bit of a challenge to tighten once you have them all installed loosely. Towards the tailgate are a breeze. I'd say in all it took about 30 to 45 mins. If you have a plastic bedliner you'll have to cut notches in the liner for them to work. I used chalk to mark the liner where I needed the notches. I'd say worth every penny especially to avoid putting unnecessary holes in your bed.

They fit my Leer canopy on my F-350 perfectly.
Very easy to use. So simple to install and get tight. Half the parts of most models of clamps.

Great clamps but need a bit more clearance than j clamps.
These are excellent truck tool box clamps. I have one set in use and they are a much better solution than j type which tend to bend the side rails. I recently bought a second set for my new truck and box but unfortunately have to return them. I dont have enough clearance between the side rails and tool box. These clamps need about an inch on each side.

Just what I needed
Superior option to conventional J-hooks, which damage the truck bed and don't even properly secure a toolbox. A pair of these have plenty of holding power to keep my box in place
