This week features a musical mini-series, the three-part story of Josephine the Short-Neck Giraffe. Josephine is the story of a young giraffe who is unhappy with her short neck and yearns for one that is long and graceful - like all the other giraffes have. Through a series of adventures, both funny and poignant, Josephine comes to accept - and even like- her uniqueness. The music is lively, the characters delightful, but the message is serious. All of us have characteristics that make us different than everyone else. And there's a field trip to see real giraffes too. Regular Neighbors include Chuck Aber (Neighbor Aber), Betty Aberlin (Lady Aberlin), Don Brockett (Chef Brockett), Joe Negri (Handyman Negri), David Newell (Mr. McFeely), Audrey Roth (Miss Paulificatte), Elizabeth Seamans (Mrs. McFeely), Maggie Stewart (Mayor Maggie), Bob Trow (Bob Dog/ Robert Troll), Bill Barker (Dr. Bill and Elsie Jean Playtypus), Lenny Meledandri (Prince Tuesday) and Carole Muller Switala (Ana Platypus). The musicians were John Costa, Michael Moricz, Carl McVicker and Robert Rawsthorne.

GOOD DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAMMING!
The media could not be loaded. I love Mr.Rogers and This one 5 episodes shows you how much he loves animals & how much his curiosity in the animals and there development ! If you’re an animal lover this is a perfect one and it also shows importance of children going to school and feeling good about themselves it really gives you a lot of self-confidence the watch this And happy memories of watching this as a young child to an adult with your young child it really is so so important he was an only a personal touch TV he taught children how to have self-confidence about them selves the importance of learning the right way to be curious at the same time how to do it and how to play in the Safeway without getting hurt ! Mr. Rogers is really cared, he knew to people what they should let there young children should be watching for healthy & development ! his shows and gives them a sense of confidence mr. Rogers is really was an important show on TV when there was so much TV that was confusing not saying TV is bad I’m just saying there’s a lot of programs out there that are questionable but you knew when you could leave your child in the room and watch Mr. Rogers without a fear they would see anything shocking or violent !

The MOST uplifting, inspiring, encouraging musical EVER thanks to Fred Rogers!
to whomever is reading this: I'm GLAD YOU'RE the way you are! People can like you exactly as you are and you can be glad and proud of who you are and how you look and sound and how uniquely created you are. This musical is beautiful from it's amazing animal costumes, catchy-wonderful songs, bright colorful sets, witty lines, amazing actors and moreover, wonderful message about NOT comparing yourself to everyone around you and being thankful for you uniqueness and loving others because of their differences. It is Fred Roger's best musical and he had a lot of wonderful ones! We love Mister Rogers and having this whole week on DVD is just fantastic. I do wish it wasn't so expensive but totally worth every dollar!!! God blesses so many through Mister Rogers legacy and we can't wait to meet the inspiring, loving man himself in Heaven one day when Jesus calls us Home. He accomplished such a marvelous work here on earth we can't wait to see how God is using him in Heaven ;)

Mister Rogers is still the best
Fred Roger had a gentle approach with what are still timely childhood issues. His frankness with difficult issues helps open conversation.
