Fake HEPA filter.
Performance of filter is not very poor. It doesn't lower PM2.5 level even by 10%. The previous 2 year old original filter was much effective than the new one. Perhaps it is fake HEPA filter.

The packet wasn’t sealed properly and the filter had spaces in between. But opened after the return date so nothing much can be done.
