These don't work, purchase a different brand
We tried these out for a retro job and they failed miserably. Spent lots of time trying to get these to work with different POE injectors and POE switches but nothing worked. When we tried to return these they said no, I am not happy with this response as the product does not do what it says it does. We ended up going with the EnConn version of this device and they worked right off the bat and have been going strong for a couple of months now. Bottom line, do not purchase these from dualcomm.

Works as advertised!
I have analog cameras over coaxal cable. The cameras need to be replaced and with this product I am able to use 4k camera with POE. I love having options and not having to run cat 5 or 6 in the attic will be very helpful.

Fantastic product!
Unlike others who needed the UniFi PoE adapter, this thing worked right out of the box for me on a UniFi Switch 48-port (750W - Gen 1) with a UniFi Protect G4 Pro. I simply did Switch -> White (mode A) -> Coax -> Black (Mode B) -> G4Pro. The G4 Pro instantly started blinking white to power up, it works great and has a 100 Mbps signal. This was over about 120ft of RG59.The only thing I would change is to have the Ethernet and BNC ports come out of a long side instead of the short side (that is, turn them 90deg on the PCB) so that it will fit inside a standard single gang box. With the male Ethernet plug, BNC adapter, and coax connection, this gets too long to fit inside a single gang box... But that was solved by switching to a bigger box.

Good small adapter
It worked. I love the fact that it is small form factor and POE. No additional power adapter is needed, just plug in the Cat 5/6 cable from the POE switch. The only problem is I could only got 10Mbps download/upload speed, not sure how to get to the 100Mbps level. I tested the bandwidth and it has been 10Mbps every time. Also the adapter uses a BNC connector, not compatible with residential F connector. Need to buy a BNC-F adapter before using this.

Did not need to run new wires
Had a couple buried RG6 cables from an old security camera system. New system works over ethernet, and these adapters allowed me to use the RG6 as POE, and I did not have to bury new lines. The new cameras are 4K with sound, and there was no loss of quality.

They work, but watch the loose connection!
I used these to wire a PoE camera. They work. It was easy to install and setup once I figured out the order (which was the sending unit, and which was receiving unit) as the directions are not the clearest. The one problem I did have was it came with extra BNC connectors since I guess the ones manufactured on them don’t have a very good fit? After getting everything figured out using short cables, I completed the install. After I had everything put together, my camera no-longer would connect to the network... not sure if it’s a power issue or what, but now it won’t even work without the adaptors. In trouble-shooting, I did test a PoE network access point with these adaptors and it powered on and worked just fine. I have to wonder if the loose connection/extra BNC pieces created a loose connection causing stress the camera or potentially fried it from powering on/off. At any rate, I now need a new camera and I have these adaptors (that work) that are not being used until I can get another camera.

Works over a straight up ethernet connection but not for my ISP equipment.
Live in a rural area. Get internet from a radio transmitter from the next mountain over. Works fine: 30mbs+ with low latency. My radio dish is powered by a poe ethernet cable. Thought I could replace the the poe wire with these gadgets and the cable tv wire I have in my house.Doesn't work over the rj45 wan port.Does anyone know why this works with the rj45 lan ports but not the rj45 wan port on my standard Asus wifi router?
