Blow–Fix is a quick and hygienic alternative to the blowing out for eggs. It is simply a hole drilled in the egg and then the protein and yolk are pumped out.Included In The Drill, the pump, 1 x Instructions (cannot guarantee instructions are in English).

A pleasant surprise
Firstly, I was astounded by how quickly this arrived, considering it came from the U.K. I've made on-line purchases that had to travel less than a hundred miles and took longer to get here. When I opened the package, I was a little dismayed - it seemed a little "dinky". However, it does what it's supposed to, without any problems. The little "drill" is easy to use and makes a delightfully small and neat hole, which will be easy to disguise within the design. Totally satisfied with my purchase.

Be patient. It works great!
I loved this. Saw Martha Stewart use one years ago and when I saw it. Had to have it. You only make one hole in the egg and it is so easy. The “drill” is basically a nail but it works perfectly. I found to completely surround/encompass the egg with the opposite hand and fingers. Make it real secure and just drill with the nail applying just small amount of pressure. Expect a few mistakes the first few times until you get the hang of it. Always have a bowl ready to catch the egg so use can use it in a recipe. It’s a clean egg. It’s not like you’re blowing it out with your mouth and contaminating it

It does require some time and effort, and it looks a bit gross.
I used this on several dozen eggs over the course of a few weeks (whenever we'd use an egg for cooking) and had no real trouble with it.The drill is effective, and requires only light pressure and a twisting motion to pierce the shell. My favorite piece. The pump does require you to cover the hole (at the top of the pump as shown in the picture on the box) as you press down and I strongly advise that you uncover the hole as you release so that egg will not be drawn up into the pump. Some egg started to creep into the needle after many eggs, but I'm not sure if my technique was getting sloppy or it resulted from the needle no longer sitting quite as firmly from repeated removals for washing. In any case, between the rinse step for the shell (fill the pump with warm water and inject it into the egg) and running water through the needle directly I was not concerned about food contamination.I let the washed apparatus dry completely between uses, though I would caution anyone who has never tried to clean up dried egg that allowing a pump to dry with egg (especially whites) in it will render the machine unusable.I should also caution that this is normal-grade plastic and not designed for high-heat washing. The hottest water from my tap (hotter than is comfortable for hands) noticeably weakened the pump though it still operates well. Finally, be careful about putting too much pressure behind the egg contents that are trying to crowd out of the hole. If you exceed the maximum tolerance of the shell it will crack with a "pop" not unlike a loud balloon (I was lucky to only have shells break into two uneven pieces). I suggest wiggling the needle or pulling it out and stabbing it back in to break up clogs instead. Sometimes just removing the needle and waiting a second or two is enough.

Supreme Easter eggs!
I never got the hang of blowing eggs for keeping decorated eggs. This little gadget makes it so easy and only requires one hole, as opposed to the 2 doing it manually does. I made a bunch of pyshanky this year!

I didn't expect it to be so easy.
I'm impatient and can be too forceful when I make more fragile crafts. This was pretty good. It didn't work on eggs from Organic Valley but worked great with Egglands Best. I did not read the directions and I didn't even have to ask my 12 year old son to tell me how to use it. Figured it out in 15 seconds. My son was watching me with skepticism and even he was surprised that I got it in the first try. Other reviewers were right. Rinse the eggs and rinse the equipment in cold water as soon as you are finished.

Great gadget!
This little gadget really works! I was skeptical, because the yellow accordion blower is thin plastic, and the 'drill' is nothing more than a tiny chunk of metal sticking out of a tiny plastic handle. It's all in the technique. The drill must be perfectly straight, and pushed into the egg shell as you twist. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, perfect tiny drill hole.To blow the egg, you must fill the egg with air pressure, which is what pushes out the yolk and white, you're not sucking out the contents.Yes, due to this pressure, you will crack eggs if they had a weak spot. After blowing out the contents, you must fill the blower with hot water and flush the egg, and drain. It takes a few days to drain the egg, they like to retain water. I'm wondering if drying the blown eggs on low in the oven, but I have not tried this yet.

Addicting Fun
So great a tool that it works on goose eggs and Guinea eggs (very hard shells) as well as chicken and duck. Go ahead and buy the egg decorating kit with this, because you will be hooked. Be sure to leave a little room for the egg to slide out (hold the tool 1/4 inch from egg shell), and remember to follow direction about not aspirating the egg into the tool--it makes clean up much easier.

Works perfectly!
I hated blowing out eggs. I always had to put two holes in and usually cracked them in the process. This thing is great! Only one small hole to make and it cleans everything out. LOVE IT!!!The little drill tip makes a nice clean hole and then the tip blows air in which forces the egg out. It's so easy a child could do it. Perfect if you are making ornaments out of eggs. I can't recommend this enough. I'm so glad I found it.

Its an egg blower or I as I like to call it an egg doohickey thing, it is way at it is 😀
Couldn't be without this, it comes and you open it and it looks like the cheapest nastiest bit of tat ever.. but wait ... it is amazing. I carve eggs and the mess you get into trying to get the inside outside without damaging the shell. This little doohickey thing, total godsend, you get a little pokey thing to put a hole in the egg and the yellow doohickey thing to squeeze the egg out. If mine ever got lost I'd buy again.Just be warned if you pump too much air in and see no egg come out that sucker will explode, aside from heart palpitations from the fright you get covered in egg, it's not nice 😂

eggtastic
Fantastic little tool, the drill bit worked out well you just need a little time to get a small hole started then before you know it you have a suitable size hole for the needle to go into the egg without causing too much damage, can be done anywhere on the egg, and the bulb for pushing the air in worked a real treat, easy to use and clean.

A great tool for all egg decorators out there!
As a novice egg decorator, I really struggled with the first step: blowing the eggs! This little instrument not only reduces the messiness, it also means that you do not need to make 2 'starter' holes in the eggshell - one at the base of the egg is enough. So if you want to keep the natural shell colour, there is no awkward patched spot at the top of the egg!

I love to make things - with the help of the egg blower I made an 'Easter Tree'. The hollow eggs were painted, decorated and had colored ribbons stuck to them then hung on a small spray painted branch that had fallen from a tree in our garden along with fluffy chicks etc. a huge success and not a drop of egg wasted - scrambled eggs & omelette were on the menu that week. Fantastic but make sure the gadget is well cleaned after each use!

Brilliant product!
Drill creates a perfectly round little hole about 2 or 3 mm in diameter. The pump works really well to blow out the egg out. Also used it with water in to clean eggshell afterwards. No messing about with a pin and no aching cheeks from blowing it manually. Only one hole in the egg is needed. Very impressed.

Very poor.
Even at this price, this is not good value. The needle falls off all the time, and the pump itself has a puncture. Poor all round. I'll stick to a 50p oral syringe in future.

Great piece of kit.
Great for blowing eggs.Easy to use. Blows the egg quickly. Avoid putting the needle all the way in as Best results if you blow just inside the hole.

but it is absolutely brilliant. It works like a charm
At first I was concerned that it looked flimsy, but it is absolutely brilliant. It works like a charm, gets the job done in less than 5 minutes and cleaning the tool is also dead simple.

Excellent tool, managed to blow an emu egg without any hassle at all. Very pleased - only the drill wasn't up to the emu egg shell, but then it wasn't made for that sort of task, I guess. It made enough of a dent to center a Stanley knife on it and then drill it by hand.
