It’s great!
I’ve has mine for a year now. It works great for all cooking. I haven’t tried baking in it since I don’t have an oven.It takes a little getting used to if you’re switching from regular non-stick cookware. How much oil to add, how often to stir, the level to set the flame at etc. Initially I did burn some food, but now I’ve gotten the hang of this, and there’s no problem.

Recieved in a good package condition. Howevere one can see small blisters. Hence returned. Price is a bit higher compared to what you get in europe.

One must learn to use this.
In this pot one has to cook in very low flame as the cast iron gets heated up fast.Always use it on low flame & see the end result.After using it with caution I found it a very useful item in the ones kitchen.I deleted my first review. I recommend everyone to buy it who is interested in making meat & prepare soup.

there are tiny bumps is this normal? please can someone answer this thanks
I love this pot and have been trying to buy this for quiet some time, but same problem has several tiny bumps. Is this normal? coz both the pots have several tiny bumps. And one of the bump is open and can see black color so i clicked photo and it seems that the iron from inside can be seen. . New unused pot has this tiny bump and this one like a broken pimple. So I have no option but to return and now I am feeling hopeless coz 2 pots same problem. Looks so beautiful but well due to bumps can't keep it. Sad coz I want to buy yet unable to find a good piece. Packing is perfect Service is good. but how many times can i order?! Ordered this twice from the same seller. I have ordered other products makeup brushes too via this seller and those products have been excellent.

please read the review before buying this product i received a damage product the enamel was chipped off at two places inside and had bumps inside it didnt had a smooth and even finish .i read on internet if you have bumps on your enamel pot it means it will chip of when you use the pot at high temperature.once the enamel chips off we cannot use it anymore as there are chances of getting enamel into the food.the manufacturer itself says the quality "made in china".i am not sure but i think i am the only customers who bought this pot in amazon.in, lodge and amazon both failed to satisfy the first customer..

Awesome Cast Iron Dutch Oven!
Finally bought a big enamel dutch oven that's affordable, well made and very good looking!I put 3 whole chicken leg (about 300gm each), 4 thighs (about 600gm), 4 chicken wings (about 600gm), 2 onions, and 4 packets of brown shimeiji mushrooms into the 6-quart dutch oven and baked them in an oven. The meat turned out really well. They were soft and juicy and the whole family loved it.The next time I cook this dish, I will experiment with shorter baking time & lower temperature.

Es de excelente calidad. Se cocina totalmente diferente a cualquier olla de aluminio, acero inoxidable o teflón. Si apagas la estufa y dejas la tapa, tu guisado dura varias horas caliente. Es pesada como cualquier olla de hierro fundido pero eso no es un problema.Debes tener cuidado en su mantenimiento, ya que debes considerar que el recubrimiento es vidrio, por lo que un golpe fuerte o una caía pueden dañarlas fácilmente.Consejo: como es una olla que distribuye de manera uniforme el calor, debes calentarla bien y luego cocinar a fuego medio. Si lo haces con fuego alto todo el tiempo, se manchará de negro y te costará sacar las manchas. A fuego medio si se mancha, puedes quitarlas sin ningún problema con agua, jabón y una esponja.La recomiendo totalmente, no te arrepentirás.

Don't let bad reviews fool you - this is a durable pot
Got a little sketched out initially by people claiming their enamel was chipping but thankfully after getting mine I can chalk that up to people trying to get a refund for a pot they ruined. I've baked at 500, seared and simmered soup in this thing so far and it looks 100% as good as new. Super heavy and holds heat great. I do have criticisms - the bottom is a bit too rounded and shrinks the cooking area a bit too much for me - but the enamel isn't one of them and for $100, who cares? Don't use metal, buy a non-scratch sponge and use a plastic scraper for stubborn bits and this thing will give you a good life. Cannot reccomend enough for others like me who want a dutch oven that lasts but can't swing the $400 for LC.Also worth mentioning - for whatever reason the pot's colour gets way darker when it's hot. I don't know if that's intended but it always goes back to normal once it cools so I'm not stressed about it but be aware that's a thing that happens. Actually kinda handy so you know when it's dangerous to grab.Edit: A few months after writing this my pot sponatneously chipped while it was being preheated. I've been regularly baking bread in it requiring 500 degree temps for hours and was searing in it so I think it was thermal shock that did it. Contacted Lodge and they asked a few questions immediately offered to replace it - seems like as long as you don't admit to absolutely abusing the pot they're pretty happy to send you another one. I've had that one for about a year now and it's great. Again this is essentially a budget version of another product (LC) so I'm not expecting perfection and a lifetime of use, and the company offering to send me a new one at no charge is all I could really ask for. For stovetop use I still think this pot is absolutely 5 stars, but maybe avoid for bread baking unless that's the only thing you plan on using it for. I still use the old chipped one for baking and it's great for that. Overall a little disappointed at the lack of flexibility but in terms of value for price I'll still happily call this 5 stars.
