ASRockMini-ITX Motherboard (B450 Gaming-ITX/AC)

I bought this based off youtuber ETA Prime's ITX Build using the red Goodisory A01 computer case. Unfortunately for me, the case was unavailable when I went to put this PC together, but with some adjustments, the build went without a hitch.The mini ITX form factor was a very attractive idea. I wanted something for emulation, and for my steam games in my living room (Via Launch Box/Big Box). The motherboard had the most recent bios when I went to boot it up with the AMD 3200G CPU, so luckily, no loaner chip/bios update was needed and everything booted up just fine. The case I went with is actually a bit shorter than the Goodisory A01, and required a low profile CPU fan, which adds to the cost of the build (Plus I bought two 40mm fans to push air on the side of the case). I recommend that you overclock the AMD 3200G asap, as it will get a bit better performance for games like Street Fighter 5, and the newer games out there. This board gave me no problems when overclocking. The included software disc is pretty much garbage, you're better off just installing Windows 10 from a thumb drive, and just updating the GPU drivers via the AMD website. Love this lil board, it's a bit costly, but that's the price you pay for the form factor, packed full of features.As for overall performance, it's very surprising for an APU, I run 1080p out of the box, and get decent frame rates with everything I've thrown at it, usually with medium to high settings. Most emulation works very well. Mostly only issues when running certain games for PS2 emulation. I know this may not be good enough for the hard core audience, but overall I'm very happy with it. Running everything through Big Box is pretty sweet as well. I don't know what the negative reviews are all about, but this board is about as good as it gets for the size and price. Mine came ready for Gen 3 Ryzen with no updates required. It currently is sitting in a Corsair mid tower case, overclocking a Ryzen 5 1600x at 3.8 ghz, running 16gb of Ballistix RGB 3200 mghz RAM at 1.4v, and an overclocked Rx 570 to the point that any more and there would be combustion and it has been doing this for almost a year with absolutely zero issues. The BIOS is very simple. There's almost no way you could mess it up. I really don't know what the bad reviews are about. This, for me, is a great board.

Using this with a Ryzen 7 2700x, this motherboard is working perfectly out of the box with Windows 10 1903 V2. Windows supplied drivers were working perfectly before installing Asrock's latest drivers that also work well. Couldn't ask for more at this price point. The BIOS setup is fantastic, support for 3 fan/pump headers is one more than other similarly price ryzen mini itx boards out there. The design isn't too flashy, the only thing you might worry about as far as matching a case color scheme is the IO shield having a big red sticker on it. I removed it and repainted the IO shield..I can't complain. It does what it needs to and does it well.

This motherboard had issues working with my ryzen 5600g. Specifically, during boot, the HDMI port outputs at a resolution which is incompatible with the 1080p display i use. In order to enter the BIOS and adjust all of the settings to maximize the 5600g potential, I had to use an older graphics card from another machine. The board can boot into windows just fine, but I was unable to solve this issue without a video card. I have another computer that runs a ryzen 5 2400g, (also an ASrock motherboard) and it has the same issue, however, that one has a VGA port, which I use to access the bios. This motherboard functions great other than that issue. All of my RAM boosts to 3600mhz, i was able to give the ryzen 5 5600g 4 gb of VRAM through the bios. It allows overclocking, and handles it well on this chip. It did require an updated bios in order to work with the 5600g. I have a spare 3400g i use to update boards like this. If I was to buy another ITX board, I might get the gigabyte AORUS board. The main feature that this board lacks in my opinion is a BIOS flash through USB option. This would speed up updating these boards to ryzen 5000 series CPUs. (this is the 3rd motherboard I have needed to update.) You really cant beat the price for this board to build a small form factor PC, especially if you have a few parts lying around.

Good mainboard but not support windows 11, blue screen issues with memory.

I got this to install in an Inwin Chopin case. I outfitted it with a Ryzen 5 2400G APU, Noctua NH-L9a cooler, 16GB of Team Dark Pro 3200 C14 (TDPGD416G3200HC14ADC01), and a 1TB Western Digital Blue M.2 SATA drive. The BIOS is fully featured and has all the settings I would expect to find. I haven't had any problems with it so far and am happy.Update 7/12/2020: Just throwing this out there, I have had no problems and it continues to work just fine for me. I'm on the latest bios version for my CPU and everything is good.Update 11/6/2021: Moved to a new chassis, installed the latest bios, swapped the WiFi module to an Intel AX210NGW to get WiFi 6, swapped to a Ryzen 3600x, swapped memory to KLEVV Hynix Chips 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 Bolt X PC4-28800 3600MHz CL18, and added a Vega 64. Everything is still working fine. New photo attached.

My motherboard arrived in just a couple of days (shipped to Canada from USA) and it had the latest BIOS from Asrock preinstalled (5.20), so after I installed my ryzen 5600g and 16gb of ram and powered it up, it posted right away. Installed w11 in about 15 minutes and it has been running perfectly since. I like Asrock mobos and this one, although it's a bit old, has all the features I wanted for my new htpc and it's very reasonably priced. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy again from this seller.

Adquiri esta placa madre para armar mi sistema compacto en un Gabinete Silverstone SG13. Tengo montado un Ryzen 3600, una RTX 5600 XT 2 modulos de memoria de 8GB, un SSD en puerto NVME y 2 discos sata de 2.5" y funciona a la perfeccion. Me gusta que tiene 2 conectores para ventiladores aparte del ventilador de CPU y que tiene conectores de audio para sistemas 7.1.Una muy buena compra para procesadores Ryzen de hasta la serie 3000.

Placa ITX completa. Foi só instalar e de primeira rodou bem. Atualizei a bios para a última versão do site da Asrock. A parte gráfica está meio fraca por estar usando uma GT1030. Apesar de atravessar o mundo, tá funcionando sem problemas. Obrigado. Eu recomendo este vendedor.

Difficile de trouver des cartes AM4 en ITX de nos jours...Il est loin l'époque ou l'on trouvait des cartes mères à moins de 100€Cette carte est la moins chère trouvée pour un boitier mini ITX et ainsi recycler mon vieux processeur AMD RYZEN 2600C'est une carte "haut de gamme" car WIFI et Bluetooth sont compris. La carte son (Codec l'audio Realtek ALC1220) est aussi de bonne factureAucun problème d'installation rencontré
