The user manual for the new freesat recordable box says that with a hybrid lnb you can only record 2 programs. is that correct?

The new Freesat 4K box requires a Wideband LNB to record 4 Programs at once. This LNB has this feature and will work. I know because I have just installed one.

Can i connect a freesat box and a sky q box to this lnb and use them in separate rooms ?

Not any more, as the latest Freesat recorders use 2 wideband feeds. You would need an lnb with 4 wideband outputs, not sure they exist

looking at the photo of the lnb it appears to be round. the sky lnb is oval to match the dish. so is adjusting the skew on this lnb necessary?

Hi Setting the skew on any lnb and on all dishes is necessary, if you would prefer the original sky hybrids we stick these Also and the quality of the sky original ones is better than the visablewave models Kind regards Ted 07737463348

I have 2x lg freesat tv’s (no record facilities) and 2x sky hd boxes. will this work for all?

This kit has 6x connections in total. 2x that is for Sky Q and the other 4x are for Freesat/older Sky + Off memory you need 2x connections for Sky+ to work so you can’t get all 4 bits of kit to work at the same time.
