Purist Water Bottle

Works great, I really like the no spill option because I'm not coordinated enough to open a cap while riding and I have way too many implants and crowns to risk doing it with my teeth. Exterior had a few scuff marks visible if you hold it up to the light the right way but not an issue since it's going into my bottle holder not the china cabinet. Couldn't fault the taste either, previous bottle tasted like I was drinking the waste water from the plastic factory, whereas this doesn't alter the taste of Powerade that I put in it.

It's a water bottle that works as advertised - no residual tastes, easy to clean, durable, and comes in cool colors. My only gripe is that it can be kind of difficult to drink from the valve.

I bought this bottle for my daughter to use for soccer season and it is perfect! I like the spill proof top, as she is always knocking her water bottle over, but it hasn't leaked. Previously we were using a metal water bottle, but this one is better so we can see how much she has left. We easily switch between water and sports drink, just by rinsing it out!I had to buy one of these for myself to use at the gym. I love how you don't get the plastic after taste that you typically get with other water bottles. Highly recommended product!

This water bottle never did it's job beyond just carrying water. The purist brand is supposed to ensure clean tasting water.This was never the case and repeated washings in the dishwasher helped but did not completely eliminate the bad taste.I am puzzled because I purchased a specialzed purist bottle that did not taste bad. This one is worse than my generic water bottles.This bottle has the unfortunate combination of being expensive, water tastes bad and not particularly easy to squeeze.I could not recommend this bottle to anyone.

Well, upon arriving home, I was greeted to my small Amazon Prime box containing this water bottle. I was excited, I knew just how high quality these Purist water bottles are. To my dismay, however, upon opening this Amazon prime box up, I opened it to reveal an extremely worn looking water bottle. Maybe it's just the silver coloration of the bottle, but there are heavy scuff marks all around the bottle. The purist and hydroflo logos were peeling off at the corners. That, and the actual spigot leaks water upon putting it up to my mouth for a drink. Overall, pretty dissatisfied with this purchase. Especially considering it was $15.99. I would give it one star, but the shipping speed was actually fairly quickly.

It was a functional water bottle. It does not spill but it is not like "squeezable" glass. It is a plastic water bottle. And it still has a plastic taste. The biggest reason for me getting this bottle was so that I wouldn't have the plastic taste. It was disappointing. But again, it was a functional water bottle that serves its purpose.

I have been using this product for about 5 months now and I love it! It's super easy to clean due to it's simple components. I also really like the squeeze valve function.However, there are a couple flaws I noticed about this product. (1) It occasionally leaks when upside down with the valve open even though it is advertised to not leak. (2) It had a really strong plastic taste for several weeks even though it is advertised to "taste like glass." (3) Some of the print started coming off after the first usage. (4) It makes a squeak sound when drinking out of it sometimes.Overall, I really love the product. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. It's the number one bottle I would recommend to anyone.

I'm a cyclist and have been looking for the right water bottle for years. I've used glass, but it's cumbersome, more difficult to maintain and clean, has to be covered with a protective cover and adds weight to my ride. This bottle performs like a plastic bottle with all of the advantages of glass. The design also allows you to control the flow of water -- and that blast of hydration is awesome when you've worked up a thirst.
