Very effective. I have counted upto 40-50 mosquitoes at a time. You need to follow the instructions and use it in an empty, dark room with the fan off and leave enough space between the zapper and the wall. You also need to clean it out every time, otherwise the dead mosquitoes stuck on the wires will block the live ones from getting electrocuted. Use it a couple of hours before going to bed when there is no one in the room to provide food for the mosquitoes.

apart that this device MUST work in full absence of other light sources (dark room), which make it useless for defeating mosquitoes during your normal daytime... even in the sleeping room, with no fan on, no other light sources, kept all night long on, did not catch a single mosquitoes in a 3 day test.I think this kind of devices are mostly a buyers catcher...CONS: purple light (not UV) is annoying and fan is a little noisy if you try to sleep; too short AC cable, and the design of the object is bad, as it has no weight in the base, so it is very easy to fall.

It traps and kills mosquitoes or very small flying insects but effective only at dark place well above floor level i.e. approx 2 or 3 meter from floor and away from wall etc.It works kinda ok when no human is nearby.

To be open, those that leave negative reviews doesn't know how to use it correctly.Initially when I bought I also failed a couple of times getting couple of mosquitoes to no mosquitoes. And now I know how to use it correctly.Things to be noted.It's clearly mentioned to keep it .8 m away from wall or obstacles. So I used an extension cable to put it in the middle of room or place where there are most mosquitoes. Also move chairs or other obstacles away to give free way for mosquitoes ti the trap. Avoid all onstacles.Left all night yesterday after attaching through an extension cable and this morning it was full of mosquitoes I counted it to around 40.So ordering 2 more units today.

Works perfectly in a dark room only if no-one in the room. In presence of anyone in room it didn't work

1st photo in 3 hrs.2nd photo after 2 nights.it will work fine if it is placed at right spot with no lights and not under direct fan or AC.

Made a fool out my self. Turned it on and was waiting for 2 hrs. There were mosquitoes flying in it near it too but this did nothing. Or may be I got the functionalities of this machine wrong. May mosquitoes have to be caught by us and fed to it

Not serve the purpose perfectly . Light is quite low not able to attract mosquitoes towards it .
