Godox SB-UBW 120cm Grid Umbrella

This Octabox from Godox is one of the cheapest (in money) 4Ft Octa (120cm). In box : There is no box, this comes in an Umbrella cover type, which is still some 3 ft tall. Umbrella itself, 1 white diffuser cloth. Assembly : Easy. Just pop open the Umbrella, open the side zip to bring in the Light stand (with umbrella holder) and attach the Flash. Attach the White diffuser cloth, and you are good to go. Good : Size, material, built quality, and the Middle rod is strong and a little wide Bad : I didnt feel any. However, if you have a local umbrella holder, this may not go. Use case : Consider that this is 4 ft, and the flash should be pointed towards Inside and not towards the diffuser cloth. Now, to fill up this soft box, and for light to come through, this should be at least a 200w flash for Indoor, and 400+ watts for Outdoor for proper light. Dont buy for a general speed light.

godox umbrella softbox 120 cm is very portable , light weight and easy to carry. you can buy it if you are flash photography lover, usefull for both outdoor and indoor, the size 120cm is pretty large but useful to create soft light . it's difficult to use in outdoor when winds blows fast, 80cm will more usefull if you only love outdoor. 120cm also need more power atleast 150watts per seconds cos of its large size and it is very deed , you loose lots of stops of light. allover product is superb and well defined. you can use it many ways with diffuser without diffuser. if you are solo photographer then go for 80cm.

It's huge. One speedlight won't be enough to put into use in its full potential. Quality is good. The umbrella rod is solid metal instead of pipe.

Good product at very best price. Quality is so good. Giving only one star because there is no way you can get help with customer support. The umbrella fell and central spindle broke in wind, but there's no way I could get it fixed, because customer care number I tried was picked by a person who doesn't want Godox to get more customers. So I'm living with the broken item. Loved your product, but we hate your support personnel, Godox 😢

Very good quality

It’s a great value for its price. I didn’t expect it would be so strong. Material is of great quality, spokes are flexible and strong. Had the grid be included at extra price variable or had there been a grid sold separately, would be a great thing.

Straight out of the bag its a awesome investment. Had to buy extra flash holder but good / soft light output. If you know what you are doing with your flash this would do definitely help you. Shooting outdoor with wind is crazy hard. Rest all seem good !
