For me the fit was good, and I experienced good hand warmth from the gloves as well as good protection of my hands from moisture and snow.

They fit well in the first week but were not high quality and did not provide a lot of warmth

I was skeptical after I read some of the low star reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I used this for 6 days during my ski trip last week, it worked well, my fingers never felt cold. It was around -10 to -3 celsius those days. And the glove hold up well, no sign of wear and tear after this 6 days, so I expected it would last several more trips. It does feel a bit stiff compare to my old glove, but it's good enough for gripping the ski pole. I also like the extra long cover the glove provides for my wrist area. I bought both medium and large, since the measure of my hand shows close to top of their medium size. It turned out the medium fit very well, their size chart is correct. I am returning the unopened large one.

I needed a new pair of winter gloves since my last pair got shredded on some sharp ice. I wanted something warm, but didn't exactly need expedition-quality gear since I'm not summiting Everest or anything, so I got these figuring they were the best of both worlds. They're a lot warmer than I was expecting! We got about 3 feet of snow over the past week, so I've been outside quite a bit shoveling, digging my car out, and all that fun stuff. These gloves were so warm I had to actually take them off from time to time so my hands wouldn't start sweating. (Those of you who live in cold climates know the dangers of sweat in the winter!) They did not arrive in time for the polar vortex so I don't know how well they work at -40, but at -20 and above they're great. And they were surprisingly nimble. I was able to get my keys out of my coat pocket and unlock my car without needing to take my gloves off first. Not quite nimble enough to use the buttons on a remote keyless entry fob, but nimble enough to work an actual key. These gloves also have a pouch on the back where you could slide in a hand warmer or something, although the pocket is pretty tiny. I think one of those small Hot To Go hand warmer inserts would fit pretty nicely in there, but I don't have any to test with.
