For linguini I find the servings a little bit generous. For 4 servings I used the 3.

To be honest, I've never quite figured out how this is supposed to be convenient. Tried putting it over the opening of the spaghetti box and tipping the noodles a little way through (enough to measure), then pulling the bunch through. Tried just pulling spaghetti out of the box and sticking it through the hoe until the right amount was reached. It may have been slightly more consistent sized batches than the eyeball measure, but more of a hassle.

I have been teaching my teenage daughter how to cook and she is very proud to have mastered spaghetti. However, neither one of us could ever figure out the correct portion sizes for the number of guests. I looked EVERYWHERE for one of these in stores and found nothing. The only ones I came across online wanted upwards of $12 or more, which is simply ridiculous. This does the job and it even hangs on the hooks we use for our measuring spoons, so its very handy.

I learned my “one serving” of dry pasta was not very accurate. This is good for dieters.

Easy to clean and easy to store. However, all the holes are sized for huge eaters I think. The first hole, which is supposed to be for one is just a couple noodles shy of being appropriate for my wife and I.

I've been looking everywhere for one of these. It's amazing how scarce they are in the stores!The only thing I would change on the design would be the serving size numbers. I would add the ounces too. For those who are curious - for standard length spaghetti the ounces are (1-4): 2 oz, 4 oz, 8 oz & 16 oz. I measured then weighed them, I assure you.

Love this , I use to make way too much spaghetti . Since I purchased I’ve completely stopped wasting pasta .
