XDrumXR1 Drum Rods Maple Wood

Great for recording brilliant for rehearsal

Purchased for smaller gigs as an alternative to the carbon hot rods and plastic "Flix" sticks that I usually use.My biggest concern was the durability of the rods as they are maple rather than hickory and the quality as these are not from one of the big 3 manufacturers (Vic Firth, Vater, Promark).I need not have worried on this front as the rods themselves have held up well and are super durable. The biggest issue is with the collars that hold the rods to the handles. I am not a really heavy hitter but one came loose after a couple of numbers and the other has split after a couple of gigs resulting in a lot of unwelcome flex. This can be remedied with some self amalgamating tape to hold in place / fix but is a something of a design flaw.Overall I'm pretty neutral about these for the price. Rods are durable but construction is rather flawed. They were cheap and worth a go but I will stick (pardon the terrible pun) to the big names in future.

Hallo!Verwendungszweck: Gig in einem kleinen Lokal mit 40 Personen (eher ruhig).* auf den Toms super Klang und viel leiser als mit Sticks* auf den Becken + HiHat echt toll zu spielen und auch viel leiser* Anschlagdynamik: exaktEin anderer Benutzer schrieb, daß das schwarze Band nach kurzer Zeit aufging.Hab sicherheitshalber gleich ein extra Band drübergewickelt.Mal sehen was die aushalten, wobei ich sie für leises Spielen verwende und daher nicht stark anschlage.Ahorn Holz "Hot Rods" sind für weiche Grooves und nicht für Heavy Metal !!!Für harte Beats würde ich andere Hölzer nehmen, z.b. Eiche oder Bambus.Bin SEHR zufrieden weil man einen tollen "cremige" ruhigen Sound spielen kann !!!

Lösten sich nach 1,5 Stunden Spielzeit mitten im Gig auf, unbrauchbar.

Würde ich niemanden empfehlen. Nach ca. 10 Minuten sind die Plastikhalterungen kaputtgegangen und das Ding fällt einfach nur außeinander. Ich habe nicht gerade total reingehauen!
