Could use some instructions!
I found the lack of instructions supplied with this product was infuriating.Use too much of this and it'll taste salty. Cook it too long and it'll taste salty too. I can totally understand the issues your all having. Literally, just four lines of text could've solved the issues.I just stick some flour in if I find it salty (added bonus, it'll go further if you do that and puffs and flakes up lovely)So here's what I did:1. I par boil the chicken for 15-20 minutes beforehand (I used drumsticks and I will not eat undercooked Chicken... ever. Red near the bone is a no-no.)2. I coated the chicken in buttermilk.3. I then coated it in the Fry Mix (I mixed in about 1/3 ordinary bread flour).4. Drop in hot oil and fry until golden brown.I've been jonesing for Fried chicken ever since our local brand named place closed down. This is the best I've found so far, it's just a shame we have to come up with our own ways to use it.

Much too spicy
This coating is much too spicy. We like spicy food but this overwhelmed the flavour of the chicken. It’s a shame because it coats well and is lovely and crunchy when fried

No complaints from my family
Dry the chicken then use an egg wash before dipping in the breading and deep frying, tastes great

Not good
Tastes nothing like KFC. Ended up in the bin after three tries. Look online for KFC spice mix recipes and you'll get something very close to the original

Ok as a base coat.
What get is basically is a flour , better to buy a more expensive one with herbs and spices in or add your own . An experiment
