Steel Eagle Delta Class

Most people on you tube who review this knife are right. It's a great knife very strong survival knife I trust tops blades because I have used many and own some just for collection purposes. I was worried that the handle might be to thick for my hands due to some reviews I saw about people saying it's a good knife for large hands I border between large and medium hands and it is perfect for medium or large hands. Overall I love that it's a quarter inch thick blade it's perfect for the size of the blade. It comes with a kydex sheath which is the thi let kydex very sturdy. I was worried when I saw the belt clip because I like to scout carry but again the clip is placed perfectly to balance the weight of the knife it's sits perfectly snug on my belt carried horizontally. It's a must buy for a beast of a tool that can do it all.

Came razor sharp. Easily shaved the hair on my arm, in both directions. Kydex sheath is sturdy, but the knife is only held by 'snapping' it into the sheath. There is no secondary velcro or snap strap as a backup which I would like. The knife was shipped in a paper priority mail envelope, without a factory box, only a sealed plastic bag with desiccant and certificate of authenticity. I believe this lead to the very minor 'scuffs' at the base of the micarta grips, Otherwise this thing is a beast of a knife.

The handle fills the hand comfortably and imparts a sense of security. The knife is well balance without that top heaviness that knives with thick long blades often do. The blade..., the blade is sharp, very sharp. All in all, the Tops Steel Eagle is definitely a knife you can depend on in a tight situation. Hold one in your hand; it instills that strong a confidence.

This is a beast. I could give this knife to John Rambo and he would be psyched with it. Workmanship is excellent. I have 3 Tops and they are all top notch quality.Very thick 1095 steel. Is bad ass.Handle is awesome. Very ergonomic. I love micarta and this is a fine example of it.Sheath is very tight fitting and is very nice. Tightness is adjustable. The kydex fold is held together by Allen screws.Even though this is 1095 it doesn't rust too easily. Non of my Tops have rust on them. And it's not like they are really that oiled up either.They really did good with this knife. A very fine example from tops.

It doesn't get more badass than the Tops Steel Eagle. It looks like a sharpened pry bar but the factory edge on this is very impressive so it cuts far better than it might seem. I wish the sheath was offered with the dangler since that is an excellent option on some other Tops knives but it works fine. Thump on it and have fun. It can take it.

This is a SERIOUS knife, I honestly think it can withstand just about anything! Feels great in the hand and should be a great all around survival/camp knife. The reason for the 4 stars is that there were many small scratches on the blade.

Tops knives are Awsome , But mine had some wear and tear on its handle , So I had to return it .I have many models of Tops and even after many years of using in field ,their handles are not worn out.I attached my Apache Dawn and BOB ,their handles are still solid and in good conditions, but I don’t know what happened to this order it might be some defects in manufacture line or etc.I also noticed its Kydex sheath has only 3 nuts & bolts while others come with 4 nuts & bolts also mine did not have whistle .Some complains about existing of some scratches on the blade but this happens when they use Acid rain coating for the blade and such those small scratches are inevitable.Overall Tops makes great products and they are not afraid of trying new products and styles and adjust them base on customres’feedbacks .

Sometimes you just need a rambo knife. I have tons of tops, becker, and esee knives that are super practical... but I recently got the itch for something a bit more wild... a bit less practical. This fit the bill perfectly.Typical tops quality will far surpass any mall ninja knives of similar design.
