Balboa EL2000M3 Spa Pack PN 55065-04Balboa EL2000M3 Digital Spa Controller (Spa pack) for Tubs with Multiple Pumps - one-2-speed pumps, 2nd 1-speed or 2-speed pump and 3rd 1-speed pump or blower (not both) and a circulation pump. This spa pack is most often used with a 240 volt service in which case the heater element (Incoloy 800) will produce 5.5 kW. It can also use a 120 volt service if all load devices are 120 volt. The heater element will then produce 1.4 kW. Used with standard 2 piping or 1-1/2 piping if adapters are installed. The spa pack is expected to be bought as a direct replacement for either the same M3 version or older M2 versions. It can replace other Balboa spa packs or ones supplied by Gecko, Hot Springs, Len Gordon, Hydro Quip, etc., but only if bought as part of a retrofit kit. Unit has real time clock with battery backup to allow programming of filter cycles by time of day. Other features include freeze protection, standard, economy and sleep heating modes and self-diagnostics. It also has the ability to select how much current will be drawn by selecting how many pumps can run and still have the heater come on. It has receptacles for two 2-speed pumps; a 3rd 1-speed pump or blower (not both); one circulation pump; one ozonator; one constant-on for Audio/Visual devices; one 12 volt light. All receptacles (except light) can be switched to supply 120 Volts or 240 Volts. If used as a direct replacement, ensure you have the white wires and the DIP switch set to match the old settings. Unit comes complete with: 2 x 2 heater tail pieces and plasticized control panel instruction sheet. Comes with 2 year warranty. Requires ML series top side controller and can also use AX series auxiliary panels as well as the wireless spa monitor. Can also be converted to an EL2001M3 with the addition of the X-B expander board
