A beautiful yet essential read
Teaching the world how to steward your finances is one of the most important things one can do. Rob has succeeded in weaving a lovely story that can be read in just a couple of sittings. He succeeds in covering the essentials of achieving financial independence with simplicity and compassion. This is a book I will buy as a gift for family and friends. Pay it forward!

A must read. Especially for young adults.
Wish I had could have read this book twenty years ago. After struggling through so many financial advisory books and in the end giving up on them because things sounded so complicated, this book comes as a breath of fresh air. Easy reading with invaluable advice.

Pretty dull.
Seems to have been thrown together by a couple of friends over a few boozy weekends. Poorly written and actually pretty boring. Simplistic and forgetting that in SA the wealth fountain gushes for those born into privileged, it totally missed out on the regular folk.

An excellent guide to wealth in all aspects of one's life
I personally quite enjoyed the money fountain. The ideas and themes expressed in the book were very thought provoking while simultaniously the fable used to illustrate these ideas had genuine entertainment value. I found this book different from previous financial advice books in the holistic viewpoint it holds in relation to wealth. The money fountain equips the reader with a variety of strategies which he or she may implement in order to create wealth in all aspects of his or her own life, not just financial wealth.
