Hi so i guess it depends on what color the wood paper is, my gut feeling is if its light in color this will work. We have painted our bathroom metro grey & these were perfect. Hope this helps

These look like they have a purple-ish hue in the images. I know it says brown. But, are there hints of purple?

There is not any purple-ish hue in the orbs or tray actually. They are brown. And very beautiful. I love it!!!
