Roper Women's Dawn Western Knee-High Boot

I ordered these in tan and absolutely adore them. These boots fit true to size. It took a little getting used to for the extra length in the toes, but these boots are so comfortable, I can wear them all day. They are a bit snug in the calf area, so make sure to measure your calf at the fullest part while standing to make sure they will fit. Because they fit snug on me, I'm not able to tuck my pants into the boots. I can wear a skirt or shorts to show off all three areas of embroidery work. When I wear my pants, I can still show off the work on the foot area. I love the extra embroidery work around and in the skulls, which makes the skulls more feminine than in your face. I've only had these boots for a couple of weeks and have received a ton of compliments.

I cant justify spending 300-500 on boot that look like this..the reviews are worst than the actual truth. everything said is kinda true, but a lot not true..just got them yesterday..so believe me well worth the money to have a nice pair of dress up boots. I'm a farmer but these aren't made for work presay, just play..then when they get old, I will put them to work if they last that long. I feared too soft- not true- they are soft but not like they people explained..., too small, not true,-I have big feet, they fit me even with boy socks, which was a lil tight in toe, I switched to dress socks and the heel slipped, so I just put back on the boy sock and will wait for them to form on their own. I wore them all day shopping and no issue..forgot they were on my feet until someone said awesome boots..I told her the price..couldn't believe it..

I just received these boots today. I was really excited to get them because the design looked so nice. But, the front of the boot is much more pointy than I expected. I feel like they are cowboy/witch boots. Also, it is disappointing that the boot is not shaped like your leg. It is straight up and down. I wish that the boot came in at the ankle. I have size 8 feet and my legs are really skinny. The boots make me look like a big footed witch with no legs. It is such a shame bc the boots are so cute!

I read the reviews on these boots and second guessed myself on whether or not I was going to order them. But I absolutely loved them and couldn't find them anywhere else. Let me say, I am absolutely glad I ordered them! I did take the advice of those before me, and I ordered a half size smaller than what I wear. I wear an 8 and ordered a 7.5. They fit perfectly! I will add that if you have bigger calves, these boots may not be a good choice. The boots are on the tighter side up top but still comfortable. Those saying that they're lighter than normal boots? Of course they're lighter. They're tall boots made for fashion. Not made for horse back riding. If you're looking for riding boots, Roper makes those too.Over all, I am super excited I decided to buy them! I can't wait to wear them out! They're more beautiful in person than in the pictures! Definitely worth the money!!

Love these. They feel like pleather, but they're soft & the stitching is beautiful.The boot fits as a Roper should. I'm a professional photographer for the Army, so I'm on my feet all day, & I walk everywhere I go. So, after my nine hour day at work, my feet were not sore. I continued wearing them while at home.The only downfall I had was after five years of not wearing cowboy boots, the pointy toes were a bit get difficult to drive with, but I'll get used to it again.All in all, great boots & price was wonderful.Packed & shipped well.

I love these boots they are so beautiful you will not be disappointed. The toe is very pointy so be aware of that. But look great with an all black outfit. If you like the get them you will get lots of compliments.

Make sure you order at least a full size larger than what you usually wear. These are really beautiful boots, and I love them, but they fit tight and I'm not sure how long it will take to break them in. I REALLY like them though and they came in just a few days, they were well packaged, and they look just like the picture. They are soft and the color is a deep , rich tan. I would order them again but I would have to order a 9 instead of the 8 1/2. I'm usually an 8 but I go up a 1/2 size in boots with pointy toes. Believe me , these require a full size up.

After reading the reviews, I ordered these boots in a size 7, a half size smaller than I normally wear. I also ordered the brown in another half size smaller 6.5. The tan boots, with a little heavier sock, fit great. The brown boots were too small and they were ugly. They looked cheap, the soul at the toe sticks out further and is very plastic looking. The tan ones though, I love. They look much more expensive than what I paid. Of course, they are not leather, but they look great with jeans.
