I bought one of these lamps for a summer cottage on impulse during a trip to Ikea. I figured it might be handy if the power goes out, but I didn't expect to use it much. I now find I use the lamp multiple times every day. It's so portable and flexible. I move it like a self supporting flashlight any place I need light: into the closet while I move clothes around, under the bed while I hunt for a missing sock, onto the deck rail while I eat supper, onto the dresser pointed at the ceiling while I turn down the bed. I leave it on a sunny window sill during the day to ensure it gets charged

I've had mine for a couple of years and am heading out to buy more for my new home. Love it!
