I'm a Busy Child
Any trip to the now defunct Toys R Us was never complete without having to chase my child around inside one of those kid electric cars that she somehow managed to get into. I can now relive this in all its glory near home and in a very nice way with the ‘Toyrific Official BMW’ car. It is aimed at the 3+ market and will fit a child until they are seven so. You will need to supervise the use of the car, especially at the lower end as 3.5 kilometres an hour may not sound fast, but feel it when your toddler is swiftly driving away from you.The ‘BMW’ is a very well made electric car, you can tell from the body work and fixtures that is built to withstand the bashings of a child. This includes the excitement when they are in the car, but also when they give it a little crash. The fact that this is an official branded car means that it also feels a little fancier, the BMW logo and design of the car just makes you want to get in it yourself and cut up the nearest driver you see. Just like a real BMW driver : )The entire thing feels classy and watching your child use the well modelled gearstick is great. For a three year old it can be a little tricky at first to understand what to do, but it did not take them long to be pushing forwards on the gear for forwards and back for reverse. I do stand nearby at all times to make sure that no plant pots are reversed over.I have seen other electric cars that have an adult control that you can hold separately. I do like this feature, but with a little supervision there is no real reason that they will be in danger using the ‘BMW’. The most trouble is actually getting them in and out of the thing. With lights and a horn, his does feel like a real mini car and any child who loves watching or reading about driving will fall in love. It is worth noting that the car needs to be built to start with, so if it is a gift I would have a go the night before. The most important thing is that this car is great fun and kids love it. The BMW logo and branding just add to the quality that this particular vehicle has.

Just superb!
This really is an exceptionally beautiful toy car, made with great attention to detail and the headlights and horn are immensely attractive to the kids. I love the gear stick and the MP3 player. It all feels a long way from the metal pedal car we had at a similar age! It's branded as a mini BMW and this really lives up to the brand. It's a classy toy that can't fail to be a hit with the kids. It's suitable for 3-7 year olds and the only problem is likely to be the competition about whose turn it is. Another reviewer has already pointed out that there is some assembly and battery charging time so it is best to do that ahead of time if this is destined for Christmas morning.

Car
This is so much fun. It is also way faster than that expected to be. when on tarmac it seems to go from 0 to 5 miles an hour in no time at all the first time my little boy went to use it almost thrown backwards. It's beautifully red with easy to apply details. Setting it up was really easy and the charges really quick. It will be a shame when he grows out of it. Oh and his cousin as the Audi version... Both families agree that the BMW version is better

Toyrific BMW Kids Electric Ride On Car
The first thing to say about this is that, once ready to play with, it really does have the wow factor. However, it is worth pointing out that this takes some time to assemble, plus it needs to charge for quite a while, preferably overnight, , so – if you buying this as a present – it might be worth getting it all set up and charged and then wrapping it up (although, obviously, this is not as easy as wrapping it boxed). The excitement factor of unwrapping the box, though, might end in a lot of frustration for you, and the recipient, if you need to spend ages putting it together and then charging it before you can play with it.That said, this is really worth waiting for. It looks fantastic and will fit one child aged 3-7. It has working headlights, makes realistic noises (the horn is fantastic!), and can even reverse. It looks just like a mini car, with incredible detailing and you can even plug in your iPod, or phone, so you can play music while driving. Plus, as this is an ‘official’ representation of a BMW, it really does look like a mini version of the real thing. This is really something special and is the perfect ride on car for the child who has everything.
