Elliott G1 Practice Chanter Reed

This Reed works. It fits in my Piper's cove practice chanter. Sounds a little higher than a similar reed from Piper's cove. Not sure if it's long term durability. Only been using it for a week 15 minutes a day.

The reed initially met expectations for a practice chanter. Within 15mins the pitch was off so much I though I was missing notes on my core set of piping tunes. I ultimately ordered a Gibson reed as a replacement, rather than returning the product.

Keeps chocking .

It's OK, but my pipe major was not impressed.
