My only complaint is that I thought I could put an MP4 on a thumb drive and have it play from the USB port. I have a much less expensive projector that does exactly that but it’s not as bright so I was hoping this projector would fill that niche instead, I have to add a media player to the package to get the desired effect. Not that big of a deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning. This is the fifth Optima projector I have purchased, so I am very loyal to the brand. They are world class.

Maine homeowner finishing off home theater project. 16' projection throw, needed some keystoning, required decent image quality on an electric Elite screen which is 110" wide (diagonal 140?). Bought a $300 projector with more lumens, had terrible quality and focus at 16' (4.8m). Returned it and bought the Optoma. Very satisfied, have had for 3 weeks. Can't speak for longevity, but focus and clarity exceeds expectations and has enough input options for us. I would definitely buy this again, though time will be the test.

This is a great projector for the price. I am amazed how well this does in the light. We have it on eco and are still able to watch a movie with the lights on and the curtains open. So far the only negative is that with this model the USB port can't be used to power an HDMI device such as a fire stick

Works well but the bulb does not last as long as advertised and unless you buy the projector directly from Amazon (not a third party seller) the manufacturer is unwilling to help. The customer service was rude and uninterested.Update!!!! We had purchased two of these projectors 14 months ago and both bulbs have failed. Optima has a product problem. The hours per projector were no were near the expiration time and both have failed.

Got this for the church so that we could display the lyrics for everyone to see. It replaced an older model of the same named projector. I’m was extremely happy with to quality of the picture. Can’t rate the built in speakers. We do not use them.

I knew nothing about projectors, and with so many varying opinions and reviews, I just decided to purchase a $150 Vankyo projector and figured if I didn't like it I could return it and try something else. Well that happened... I was not happy with the quality of the picture on the cheaper projector. A friend of mine had an Optoma projector and once I saw the picture quality on that, I knew that was what I was looking for. I spent $200 extra dollars and now I feel I have what I've been looking for.The brightness is perfect, I can watch things with lights on in the room or during the day time and you can still see the picture relatively clearly. Of course it only gets better when the lights are dim or off, and it is VERY bright! Adjusting the keystone does not affect the bottom and top focus of the image like the cheaper projector I had did. The speakers are okay, I could deal with them, but I will probably get an external one. Definitely recommend this to someone looking to not have a TV.

Great projector. It’s not a projector you’ll use during the say or in a well-lit situation, but it’s good for the price.

The picture comes and goes. It was been a fight to get them to fix it, it has been sent back twice and comes back with more acting up more every time. I put my Acer back up and will never buy an optoma again.

I set up an outdoor TV on my deck, after purchasing a cheaper model that could only be seen after it was fairly dark outside and hard to focus the whole screen. I decided to look at the Optoma and Benq as they both have high lumens and great contrast ratio, The picture is so crisp and clear on the whole 120 inch screen it's incredible. I find myself watching this now more than my 65 inch Samsung in the house. Can watch with all blinds open in the house and also start watching on the deck by about 4pm when the sun has passed from directly over head.

Una de las mejores relaciones costo-beneficio que he encontrado en Amazon. Si lo vas a usar para proyectar video, la calidad visual es excelente. Yo recomiendo usar una bocina adicional para el audio, ya que el volumen del dispositivo es limitado. El único contra que le pondría es que se calienta bastante, pero estando bien ubicado, no representa un problema. Recomiendo 100% comprar un soporte para techo ya que mejora mucho el confort de uso.

Si tienes poco espacio no te lo recomiendo, necesitas al menos 7 metros de distancia para tener una buena proyección, obviamente a esa distancia la calidad e iluminación bajan considerablemente. El Menú es complicado y para las opciones de color es pésimo. Muy difícil de usar para igualar un color, muy complicado de usar en oficinas y no tiene estuche o maletín de protección.
