Won't give you a new knee -- but does give much support and makes getting around less painful
I like this product a great deal -- in fact after I bought the first one I used it for a few days and then purchased another one for my other knee. I have even recommended them to friends who also are futureknee replacement patients. At first I thought I would wear this every day. However, as with any sleeve worth its salt, the compression is tight and it caused my foot to swell after wearing it for 8 hours or longer. The swelling was gone by morning, but I tend now to just wear it when I am going to be walking or otherwise exercising my knees. The product seems well made, fits well, is easy to get on (make sure you have the right size) and holds in place. Overall it is a great product for the price. Just don't expect to feel like you have a brand new knee.

A little pricey but very well made
This is a very good knee sleeve. Not too thick or thin, feels like the right size. Measurement for size from the pictures are right on when followed.

One of the best knee braces I’ve tried!
I’ve tried many different knee braces both hinged and elastic to help with my miniscus injury and this is one of the best I’ve tried. I bought a small and I’m 5’8” 145 pounds with skinny calfs and it fit me perfectly. I love the padded ring around the knee and there is a sticky ring around the top and bottom inside edges that helps hold the brace in place so it doesn’t slip. In fact i had to really yank at it to take it off so i know it won’t fall down when I’m walking. It’s very comfortable and provides excellent support!

Maybe not the best for women
I have ankle compression from this same brand and was expecting to be wowed by this as well, but unfortunately ordering based off of my thigh and calf circumference I had absolutely no compression on my knee whatsoever and it was still digging in to my thigh.I bought a size small for my 10 year old son however and he loved it and it fit him perfectly.

Allows me to continue hiking, even on moutain trails
I've been wearing external knee braces for years while hiking, the kind which rap around your knee with Velcro, over pants. These worked pretty well but were cumbersome. The TechWare sleeve fits directly on the knee; it does not slide downward as my old braces--I was always having to pull them up on the hike. At first I wasn't sure they would work. There was some pain, I think muscle, over the knee itself, and afterwards, sleeve removed, my knee felt delicate into the next day. But repeated use, every three alternating days of the week, have removed the while wearing over the knee pain and nearly all feeling of delicacy. They are an improvement over the wrap around brace. At 62, it is clear that at some point one knee will force a stop hiking, but these braces are delaying that decision. They are a bit difficult to get off, but one can manage. The major improvement over my old braces is that those slipped as I hiked, especially as the Velcro aged. Worth trying and about the same price as the Velcro kind. I reduced to four stars on comfort for the simple reason that any knee brace is going to reduce mobility. But without doubt my knees feel stronger with these braces.

Comfortable and sturdy
This knee brace is comfortable and gives me good support. I feel confident in my stride when I am wearing it.

UPDATED: Great packaging and graphics, does what it says on the label.
UPDATE: Original product received via shipping was an older spec of the product that was not glued correctly due to machine defects/deficiencies. The product manufacturer saw my review and sent me their UPDATED replacement sleeves, which I'm reviewing in the paragraph below (and leaving the original review intact at the bottom as a historical record). Thanks for sending the replacements, Anthony. That's a big plus in my book. Will definitely add this product to my list of recommendations for friends that also physically train. The UPDATED version of this product is significantly better than the previous one. The "glue" that was used prior was part of a bad manufacturing run that made it to Amazon inventory and was not fully recovered from distributors by the original manufacturer, resulting in the original review's 2-star rating. The UPDATED version of the sleeve is significantly better, but I am still cautious about pulling on the fabric anywhere near the stabilizing bars as delamination of the two fabrics glued together and holding the stabilizing bars is still a concern to me. The knee "pad" is stable and sturdy and provides just enough stability as a sleeve without straying into "soft brace" territory. If I have days where I'm training and I need a firmer "brace", I switch to using the tried-and-true Pro-Tec Gel Force sleeves. The Pro-Tec sleeves use sewn channels for the stabilizing bars instead of glue, and the knee "pad" is significantly larger which provides more stabilization and acts more like a "soft brace" than this brand. Different use-cases, but having the flexibility to choose is great.Overall, a 4/5 product. Not exactly something I would use day-in-day-out in high-impact or high-mobility sports such as backcountry skiing/snowboarding or hiking over the course of an extremely long day, but good for training if all you need is light-to-medium support.---NOTE: The below portion of the review was based on a PRIOR version of the product that has since been replaced by an UPDATED version that has been manufactured to more rigorous specs. As seen in the photo, the supporting strips are held in place with _GLUED FABRIC_. This will NOT survive multiple washings and even just pulling them on they delaminated and exposed the metal stabilizing bars.

FANTASTIC!
Awesome knee brace for half the price of other ones. I have a professional knee brace for my other knee and frankly, barely notice any difference between the two. Like most other reviews, I did however have to size up as well. I measured 19in and based on the size chart, I should've ordered a large, but I'm glad I went up to an XL. It's perfect. Super recommend!
