Out of 11 birthday's for my bff little boy this was the most beloved by his Dad on his 8th birthday, beautiful illustrations and wise life lessons. I will be buying this again in the future for my nephew.

The book is a lot nicer than you think
The book came very quickly, it’s so beautiful,worth a lot more than I paid .It’s a book I had as a child so bought it for myself again as an adult and can share the stories with my godchildren an friends grandkids ,,,,,the illustrations are stunning a real good buy ,,the pages glossy and type face of a good size , can not enthuse enough if your looking for a lovely christening present this is it,,,,,,,a gift for any occasion,I’m really happy with it if I could give an extra star I would ,,,,

Aesops Fables
What a fraud. The publishers should hang their heads in shame.Illustrations were vivid but the stories (with basic miss-spellings) bear no resemblance whatsoever to any of the well-known and much loved fables. I would be ashamed to read this to my grandchildren and will dispose of it accordingly.Do not waste your money on this tawdry deception.
