INVERY Airdual Bluetooth Adapter Receiver for Audi MMI AMI Music Interface

I've had this gadget on my wish list for sometime, but was afraid to complete the purchase because I was very skeptical that it could serve as a replacement for my current Audi AMI adapter. I needed to update my Audi AMI adapter which I had to connect to other cables over the years in order to use my iPhone. When I upgraded my iPhone to 15 this meant USB-C and all of the cables I had that were compatible with lightning adapters were obsolete. I wasn’t able to find an adapter that I trusted that connected from the 30 pin I needed to a USB-C that also provided pass through audio and not just charging. So for months, I have been without a way to connect my iPhone to the speakers in my vehicle. I also hesitated on this particular product because of its cost. I just did not think it would perform the function I needed properly and it was relatively expensive. There was also the question of whether I was buying the right model for my vehicle. It can be a bit confusing from the descriptions. As it turned out, I have a 2009 Audi with Audi Symphony so my vehicle just squeezed in to the compatibility for this model number. But you can never be sure. I am absolutely ecstatic to say that this product is worth every penny. Any concerns I had about how to install or pair it to my phone or my vehicle were instantly erased after I removed the original AMI adapter. I simply went to the Bluetooth set up on my phone and Invery was right there, the first time. I paired it without any problem and began playing high quality music through my sound system once again. It could not have been easier. It came with directions, but I never even had to read them. My screen looks as if it did before and I’m still able to get my phone calls as usual through Bluetooth. This is not my first time trying an AMI adapter from Amazon for my car so my surprise is quite genuine. No, it’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny. The music sounds fantastic. I’ve had no problem so far and I love it. If your car is compatible, I highly recommend that you invest in one of these for your new phone.

This is a solid product and much needed for any Audi without in-built Bluetooth. I haven’t had any issues with it after a week of use. It allows me to still use the car’s phone Bluetooth and switches back to music audio with no problem. It also starts as soon as the car starts which is a huge plus. Sound quality is pretty crisp. Some drawbacks are that it’s interface with all applications besides Apple Music is buggy, which is fine with me because that’s all I use anyway. Also it doesn’t disconnect when you turn the car off. But all you have to do to get around that is turn your phone Bluetooth off once you get out. The last is the price. It’s a little too expensive but honestly what else are we going to do but get this to play sound in our car through our phones. Besides that this is a solid product. EDIT: After a few months of use, this product has basically become useless to me now. Whenever I get in my car, it does not connect. Most times, I need to disconnect the Bluetooth and retry again. If that doesn’t work then I take the device out and put it back again. If that doesn’t work, I restart my phone. But often, it doesn’t even connect after that. And if it does, it will only be good for that one car ride, but as soon as you drive the car again, you’ll have to repeat the entire process again. But in reality, all this is pretty ridiculous to play sound from my phone for a product priced at $70+. My advice: buy a radio Bluetooth receiver. You won’t get the music to show up on the dashboard, but it will be a lot more reliable and cheaper.

This is a really great device to have Bluetooth music playback through the factory unit and have the track info displayed on the screen. The sound is great! Obviously very easy to install and customer service is great! I had an issue where my phone refused to reconnect and they walked me through some processes to get it back to working. The range is a little too good though because sometimes it stays connected after the car is turned off and makes apple music shift between play and pause.. but other than that it’s overall a great product!

Worked perfectly for my Bentley GT

I was hesitant cause of the price but i would absolutely buy this again if i had to. I have a 2012 Audi A5 and it works perfectly, I can use all my buttons on the car with this and the connection is great, sound is great. No latency issues. Definitely worth the price

Purchased (off a different Amazon account) for a 2011 Audi A4. It was super easy to set up, and it sounds okay, not as good as a car with Bluetooth already installed, of course. My issues with this: 1. If I pause music on my iPhone XR, it will pause for a second then continue playing. It apparently has to be paused on the car’s stereo to pause. 2. It will display the first song’s title when it is first connected, and not update when the song changes. It will continuing counting up until the song is over, then restart with the next song’s time but again, not switch the song title. 3. I tried to record an accident on my phone the other day, but apparently when this is hooked up, you can’t record a video. Smart in most senses, expect for the reason I was trying to record in the first place. 4. When I play music in the car, turn the car off and try to play music via Bluetooth on my JBL speaker, my phone will continue trying to connect to the Invery Bluetooth. I have to manually “disconnect” the Invery device multiple times, as it will keep hooking up to the car and play music in a black hole somewhere. This may sound like a phone issue but I have 4 other vehicles with either built in Bluetooth or a Bluetooth accessible device and it happens with none of them. 5. This may just be because of my specific car, but it doesn’t hook your calls up, so you’ll have to battle the radio to answer the phone. 6. The price is insane for a mediocre product. I am planning to return once I find a better alternative, because I thought I could get over all these issues but they’re driving me insane two weeks in.

When driving, have always enjoyed the the R8's mechanical features and the B&O's sound system. It's Bluetooth however, is limited only to phonecalls. Always listened to music from the radio, memory card and CD changer. In our other household cars, streaming music from cell phones was always available and wanted the R8 to have this same capability. The excellent Amazon reviews from AUDI owners convinced me to give the InVery AirDual (AD) a try. With vehicle OFF, install was simply pressiing the RED button (for Android) then attaching the unit's cable connector to the vehicle's MMI system (In the R8 - located in rear mini glove box in between both seats). Since my two Samsung phones were previously paired the the Audi for phone calls, connecting to the AD was, go to Settings, then Bluetooth, then scan and pair to "Invery". Enter vehicle's MEDIA SOURCE, select 'BT'. Being Android, knew prior that no music titles would be visible. A small sacrifice compared to the outstanding SOUND quality and ENDLESS variety of music that is now available. Having a cell phone vent mount, it's screen access is as easy as reaching out for the vehicle's centrally located infotainment/Nav controls. Controls on steering wheel allows going forward/back through songs as well as volume levels. Another bonus is availability of the WAZE navigation audio. Pressing the vehicle's TEL button pauses the music and gives access for incoming/outgoing phone calls. Press MEDIA button and the music continues from its last pause. Am very satisfied and highly recommend this quality product to all 1st Gen R8 owners

I will look to update this if I get anything back from support. As is this device appears to have issues with android 17 and disconnects/reconnects every 6ish seconds. FOLLOW UP! There's a setting to tell the device to not handle phone calls. Screen shot isn't in the listing or included paper. Even shows the current song where the last one from BoVee didn't.

I am so surprised this worked. I have an Audi 2012 Q5 and this worked right away. I can play music from my apps. Spotify, you tube any app used for music. Best purchase made! The bluetooth works great for music and calls.

Il prezzo non è bassissimo ma devo dire che il risultato è veramente buono. Si connette semplicemente e consente di associare qualsiasi sorgente audio esterna. Funzionano benissimo i comandi dell'auto sia per volume che per ricerca avanti e indietro. L'audio e veramente ottimo. Lo tengo sempre collegato dentro al vano porta oggetti e dopo qualche mese di utilizzo posso dire che funziona benissimo e si è sempre connesso all'avvio dell'auto senza problemi.

How can you not have Bluetooth in a car in this day and age? Well, this solves that! My Audi A4 Avant 2011 B8 has the Audi Concert - MMI 2G low I believe and when I picked up the car, I was a little surprised that it doesn't have Bluetooth to play music too. This device is plug-and-play and works perfectly. Easy to pair, offers great audio I feel and you can't go wrong. The only thing is that it is a little pricey, however without the need to power it via USB I feel this works a treat. Highly recommend. All steering controls and buttons work as they should. Its like the car essentially comes with Bluetooth now. Sits in the glovebox and is never seen, fit once and be done.

It's working for my 2010 Q7 which has MMI 3G High. Plug and play, also no issues to connect with the newest iPhone. The track info appears also on the car MMI and you can control track list on your MMI (steering wheel included).
