This is the best lice comb I have ever used. I used to use the purple plastic ones and the metal ones from Walgreen with the smooth teeth. After combing through their hair, I had to go through my daughter's hair by hand to pick out the nits. I have five daughters with very thick hair, so this was very time consuming and inefficient. The first time I used this comb, I was shocked at how many nits it got out!! It also did a good job of getting the lice out, but the nits!! Most combs I found did not get nits out very well. I have been using the Evict comb every day and it takes me 5-10 mins each to go through each girls hair. Going through their hair by hand would take at least an hour each. I finally feel like I am getting ahead of this thing. I have been using this comb for a week now, and ALL of my daughters have been mostly clean. Three of my daughters have been clean after the 3rd comb through (and 1 treatment with overnight conditioner and tea tree oil). My two younger daughter had one small lice and a couple of eggs after 5 comb outs. Anyone that has dealt with lice knows how impressive that is. I didn't notice any damage to my daughters hair like some have claimed. In fact, my daughters say they like this comb better because it doesn't scratch their scalp. I will keep using this comb every day for the next two or three weeks. I am more than certain that they will be fully clean well before that, but I want to be cautious. After that, I will use this brush once a week. My daughters' elementary school does not sent kids home for head lice anymore and I have struggled with keeping them clean for about 3 years. I feel very confident that I will be able to keep them clean with this comb. I also put tea tree oil in their shampoo and will be spraying their jackets, backpacks and their bedding with diluted tea tree oil. The tea tree oil scent is supposed to repel head lice.

The ridges on this make it so much easier to pull anything out. I was using another comb I bought around the same price and thought it was good but after trying this im getting better results from combing. The ridges make so much of a difference it’s much more efficient. I wish I found this sooner.

I was very sceptical on buying the comb because I have tried ever product out there. My daughter had a really bad infestation of lice egg's. So I parted her hair in fours and went section by section of her hair. Four hours later all the eggs were out of her hair. Granted there were some stragglers but not as bad as before. I would highly recommend this comb to any mommy out there fighting with head lice. This comb works.

My toddler brought home lice and gave it to me too (his class has had it FOUR times this year!) and the RID combs just weren’t doing a great job on his ultra fine curly hair. This baby was catching everything! There were three I had to take out but it did a much better job on his hair. AND ITS SO EASY TO CLEAN!!! Absolute life saver and I’ve been combing his hair every night for three days too!

Just opened haven’t gotten to use it yet and one of the end comb metal things is bent. Anyway I could be sent a new one?

When my girl came home with lice this year, we used the brush that came with the kit and it kept breaking. So when this one came in, no lice was getting away from this thing! Loved it! Sturdy and also super easy to use with the right pressure and ease.

I think this comb is fab because you don't need any pesticides etc,well I don't. I just wash my daughters hair,then go through with the comb and it pulls nits & eggs out if there is any.

My daughter had lice 3 times. The first 2 times I bought the generic drug store lice shampoo and used the included plastic lice comb. I still had to sit for hours pulling out nits and couldn't believe how many were left - - literally over 50. And one nit is all you need to start the infestation all over again. Then out of desperation I bought this comb and honestly it was life changing. I lathered up my daughters hair with conditioner then combed it straight so there were no knots. Then I ran this sucker through her hair over and over. It is like a lice / nit magnet! The number of lice it caught was ridiculous. And the nits! Big nits, little nits it just all stuck on this comb without slipping through the tines. I didn't have to spend hours picking nits out of her dry hair either. I still keep this comb around and sometimes my daughter will put conditioner and run this through her hair to do regular check-ups. But since we got this we have not had any more lice attacks.
