After reading the reviews, I bought this a size up from what I would normally wear. It fits perfectly! I’m a bit of a pear-shape, though not large, so there’s just enough room for the tush while being super baggy everywhere else - which is what I wanted!The outfit itself is adorable and so very soft. It does shed a bit so I’m hoping it washes up well. A few things I do not like AT ALL (thus the 4 star review):1) There is a zipper flap at the butt. This is supposed to allow for you to go to the bathroom without having to take the whole thing off. Bad idea. I’d say if you were going to do this, implement buttons instead of a zipper. I’m actually going to sew this up. You cannot reasonably unzip the outfit and go to the restroom without being a contortionist. If you wear this to sleep and you shift a bit, the zipper WILL unzip! That’s sure to scare the children... I hate this feature.2) The outfit has buttons in the front rather than a zipper. Not a huge deal, but it leaves gaps between the buttons so you need to wear something underneath this. This means that you’re going to be extremely warm and possibly uncomfortable. A zipper here would have been better!I do like the fact that this is not a footed onesie, so you can use it for pajamas or for a costume. My feet are tiny, and the footed pajamas never fit correctly. I’m sure people have the same problem if they have large feet. I like the fact that the legs and arms are cuffed, too. This allows you to roll up your sleeves as needed, which is nice. Some of these are just loose material and get in the way. Not this!Overall, this is a great item and worth purchasing. Just mind the butt flap and make sure you wear a shirt underneath unless you don’t mind showing bits you don’t want others to see. I actually love it, despite the design “flaws.” Oh, and the hood is really cute and well-stitched. Nicely made for the price.

Bought as a Christmas gift for sister, comfy and fun she loves it!Definitely measure your kid to get the right size. That will ensure that you get the correct fit the first time.

I am typically a small/medium but ordered a large based on other feedback. Unfortunately the legs are super tight I was able to get a pair of leggings under them but nothing more. Also, I am not sure how it would have fit a person over 5'5" without being capri length.
