Tribeca Living VENICEDUVET Venice Velvet Oversized Solid Duvet Set, Queen, Purple

Holy toledo!!!! I have been looking for a green velvet duvet cover for YEARS. I decided to purchase this duvet cover despite some reviews saying you could only dry clean it. It arrived and it is gorgeous!!! Also, it says it can be machine washed on delicate and hung dry. I washed it on the delicate cycle and put it in my dryer on air dry (not heat). Came out perfect and is on my bed looking amazing.The green is a perfect emerald green, and I couldn't be happier!!!

*4 month update!*I have washed this cover on a cold, deep water cycle and dried Low in the dryer and it washes/dries perfectly! No loose threads, the velvet stays luxuriously soft, and no shrinkage that I've noticed. Hubby and I still love this cover and definitely made out on the deal - considering it was under $100.*December 22, 2018:This set cover FAR exceeded my expectations!! I got a Smoke Gray King size which is 110"x96". My King size duvet is 108"x96" and it, plus this cover, marry together beautifully. The Velvet is short and super silky soft ... more people need this cover!It has a button closure, ties at the top, the material inside is a 'normal' polyester - the same as the underside of the duvet (as shown in my photos). I used the "inside out roll up" trick to put my duvet inside, and it worked like a charm! Also, this cover adds some very lovely weight to your duvet also! Swooning. Would highly recommend!!*One more thing - my last photo shows the true color of the cover. My other photos were a little but washed out by too much lighting*

I love the depth of the color. I had no clue I was supposed to purchase a duvet insert at first, but once I did I loved it!!!

Really soft and beautiful duvet cover. It is well made. The button closer works fine, but I do prefer a zipper closure. Love the ties on the inside corners to keep your duvet in place. It would be awesome if they added ties in the middle of the top and bottom as well for extra security of your duvet. I bought the light gray one first and I loved it so much that I bought the navy blue as well. The only thing I wasn’t to happy about was the color of the navy blue. Although it is beautiful the color is more of a teal than deep blue as the picture on their ad shows. I had purchased navy blue Euro shams to go with this duvet cover and they do not really match. The Euro shams I bought are a true navy blue and much darker than this duvet cover. Oh well, not a biggie. I still love this duvet cover very much and if you are thinking of getting it do not hesitate! You will be so happy you did.

I see a lot of ignorant reviews on this product saying that the duvet cover is a sheet. Yes that’s right it’s a sheet that goes OVER a comforter. A comforter is the thing you sleep with, the duvet cover is what you can put OVER A COMFORTER. I can’t believe we have to explain this to people over 20. This is a beautiful ivory duvet set, very soft, very plush. I use a down comforter, it’s a queen and fits perfect. I also love how to pillows fit snug inside the pillow cases! I will purchase this product in another color as well!

This comforter looks nice but there are two issues I have. It keeps slipping off of the bed and the buttons keeping the comforter in keep coming in buttoned. Oh, and it is oversized. This I don’t understand because you have a cover that is too big for the comforter. I used the corner ties but with the extra fabric it is hard to get it looking good on the bed. I think the duvet should just fit into the cover. I want to find a cover that fits and is not oversized

Great quality, very heavy and so soft and warm. If you have the patience to battle this beast and the space to lay it out completely flat, you'll be in a much better mood while putting a duvet into the cover. Also, get a king duvet to fit the queen sized cover. It will fill up more space. I bought the extra queen and it still left a bit of room.Overall its a great quality comforter no funky smell, no wrinking, heavy and stays put on my bed. The pillow cases are just as soft and comfortable.After the struggle of wrestling with it in a small spacw, I am Very happy with the outcome. It's exactly what I wanted.

Love this duvet cover! I only had it for about two weeks so I can't vouch for it's durability, but it's SO SOFT! Gives a luxurious feel to the bed too. The fabric has a decent thickness and the cover is built with ties at each corners that keep the duvet well in place, the closure is built so the buttons are easily hidden. The price is very decent. I'm a happy customer. BTW, the dimensions aren't given, but I can say for the queen size I ordered, they are pretty standard.

I ordered this product expecting it to be a little more stiff and presentable. Unfortunately it has the illusion of a cheap 10$ blanket from any store and the shape of it leaves for lots of empty space even with my duvet in it, so it fits very awkwardly. The back side of it is not the same as the front, so it slips off of your sheets and always shows the crappier looking side. If I didn’t wash it before I put it on my bed, I would have sent it back immediately for a full refund.

El cubre duvet tiene una suavidad y sensación al tacto de muy buena calidad, en las fotos se ve un poco apagado o brillanté pero no le hace justicia a lo elegante que puede verse bien combinado, como relleno elegí un duvet aquí mismo en Amazon y lo que me sorprendió es que por la parte interna de la funda en cada esquina tiene unos cordones para anclar la funda y el duvet que hace que no se muevan y se queden en su lugar, es tan bueno que combina con las cortinas en el mismo tono y textura!! Ideal para tener varios colores básicos e intercambiar!!!Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo el verde esmeralda se ve de lujo

The material of this duvet cover is really soft. I love how the color varies depending on the lightning of the room. However, it is thin and becomes quickly wrinkled. Happily, it is not a big deal and can be resolved easily. Just put a thicker duvet inside for thickness and warmth. Overall, very pleased with this product. Totally recommend! I received my package in just 3 days with standard delivery. Definitely, value for money.

This duvet cover looks nice and seems to be made of a good quality but as far as practicality, not working out very well. Maybe I move too much in my sleep but I wake up to all the buttons being undone and my duvet in lumps everywhere , it doesn’t stay inside properly despite the fastens... it’s very warm and pretty though. In the future I’ll just stick to comforters as it’s annoying.
