Upgraded No Tie Shoelaces for Kids Adults, Elastic Silicone Shoe Laces for Sneakers

I really like these. I purchased the set of 3 with white/black/rainbow, and they're all great! We were able to "lace" 4 pairs of shoes with this set, 3 adult and 1 child. We've only been using them for about a week, but they seem very durable and have just the right amount of stretch, IMO. (If they bust or explode I will come back and edit this review) The only "negative" thing I can say, which is alternatively a positive in a different way, is that they can be difficult to get installed. Especially on a shoe that doesn't have a grommet in the lace holes. If it's just a fabric hole, they can be really difficult to put in. With a hole that has a grommet they aren't nearly as bad. However, like I said, on the flip side of that I feel that they are more secure since they were a little tough to get in. Like, they're in there snugly so they aren't just going to pop back out. So it's a give and take, and I'd rather them be harder to get in versus easy because then they would most likely be just as easy to come back out when you didn't want them to! Overall, I'm very happy with these! I like the way they look, the way they function, and how durable they seem to be so far.

I got these for my husband’s work shoes, he’s a mail carrier walking a route all day, up and down steps, in and out of his mail truck. His laces were always coming untied, which was a hassle and also not safe with his job, because it’s no simple task to re-tie the shoe when you’re carrying a bag of mail on your back without stopping and dropping everything to the ground first. He loves this solution and how quickly and easily these were initially to install in his shoes! His work shoes, which previously he was constantly breaking worn laces with from repeated hard pulling to tighten and retying, now just simply and quickly slip on in the morning. The laces stretch to slide your foot in, and return shape to comfortably and securely fit and hold your foot in place. The laces are made with a durable, strong silicone, proving to be water resistant and to hold up excellently in the wet weather elements he has encountered in his outside job, and also are very easy to wipe clean. These laces have been a great find, and have not only performed well, but are still as fresh and flexible after wearing day after day as they were when first taken out of the package brand new!

They do what they are designed to do. The only thing that could improve is a more polished look if using in casual to slightly dressier shoes. They are great in my Sperry Sneakers!!

They sounded good to try but they didn't really work. I tried several sizes but none held my shoe on tightly enough for them not to slip when I walked. I used the smallest ones. Maybe if my foot would have been fatter or fuller?

I have several different company shoe thingies, but I found these are easier to pull back out. Probably about the same pulling them in, maybe a little easier, but if you want to try different sizes for fit and you can't get them out! It will make you crazy. These pop right out with a pull. They have some stretch, but not overly stretchy, with I also like, that's why I gave it a 4 stars on the stretch because if you are looking for stretchy-stretchy, these aren't They maybe give about a 1/4 inch stretch? Something like that so if you're an athlete and need a lot, these might not work. I don't know, I'm not an athlete!

I was wary at first of using these laces because they looked so plastic-y, and I thought they would look awkward in my shoes, but I've completely changed my mind about that and now I want them in every pair I own! Once they're installed, you can't really tell they're silicone/rubbery material unless you get down close and touch them, and seriously, if someone is doing that to you then you might as well give them a little kick while they're down there because, c'mon, don't be weird. They look like normal laces when you're walking around in them, and they stay secure. Shoes are easy to slide on and off, and you can adjust the stretch by placing the shorter laces where you want your shoe to fit tighter. I placed them in the classic position, with the shortest laces near the toe end and the widest in the holes where you would normally be tying them, and they are comfortable without slipping. They are perfect for Converse and Vans.

In this picture I used the white ones. I only needed to use 4 for each shoe. It was a tad hard to get in & out of the lace hole. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes for each shoe. I got the variety pack of 4 different colors. I would recommend this product!
