Fail Safe DC12V Electric Bolt Mortise Door Lock Electronic Drop Bolt Lock with time delay Normally Close for Access Control Security System

I attached to inside of my porch door and hooked it up to a WiFi controlled switch so I could lock and unlock it using a mobile app. I kept having people walk up my drive and nose in to my porch to see if there was any packages in there, now the lock is on I can lock the porch door after Amazon or any other packages have been delivered.

Den produkt är bra . Nakdelen är bara att den "felsäkert läget" gör att den öppnas när strömmen försvinner - vilket kan vara opraktiskt när man använda det i ett förrådsdörr och det blåser. Dessutom behöver man monterar bägge delar. Det sitter en sensor i "hålsidan" som gör att den inte stängs om den inte har kontakt med sensorn. Därmed underviker man att dörren kan tar skada när den sla mot en utskjuten bult. Men har man inte plats för den bökiga mottagaredelen kan man också köpa den lås med en platt mottagare.

Just wanted to add a couple of notes since the instructions are so poor. 1. To test the unit, requires 12+ to Red wire, GND- Black wire and the Strike plate(for lack of a better word) must be next to the lock 2. The LED will go from Red to Green is the striker plate is near. 3. For a test when just sitting on my desk, after the lock has been closed for several seconds, the lock dose not disengage if the striker plate is pulled away. Don't see this as a problem, just a difference in operation if I put the striker close and pull away right after it engaged the bolt retracts. The white and yellow wires always have the correct value. 4. The Yellow and White wire short if the lock is close to the striker plate. At your own risk you maybe able to use a pull resistor and connect the other(White wire)to GND and create a signal when the door is closed.

Está genial funciona muy bien, con ella y un par de cositas más he hecho una cerradura inteligente para poder abrir y cerrar la puerta de casa con mi smartwatch sin necesidad de llaves.

I am using this lock with a timer to open and close one door at a specific time and is working without problems at all. Just the screws to install it are too small I used a bigger ones. This is a very good product.
