These are terrific cups: lightweight yet strong. I have them in another pattern, and bought two in the Book Lovers pattern with the infuser and lid as a gift. The pattern has good coloration and detail. The infuser and lid fit well.

My first Roy Kirkham mug w/ infuser and lid came from a small tea shop back in the mid-1990’s. I loved it but never bought more because I was more of a coffee drinker and wanted a sturdier, heavier mug for coffee. I can’t drink it at all anymore and am a full time tea drinker. It is absolutely true that tea tastes better from quality porcelain...the source of the clay matters. I’m in the process of packing up 50 yrs of coffee mug accumulation and needed good tea mugs. I am now the happy owner of 4 mismatched mugs and the tea tastes great out of all of them.
