Camry/Avalon/Lexus ES 350 2007-11 Repair Manual (68203)

I really enjoy working on my own vehicles, my Camry is no exception. This manual is no different than any other Chilton manual. It describes each process in detail and utilizes many pictures to further explain these processes. I have one of these manuals for each of my cars and I will continue to purchase them in the future.

The book seems fairly complete and what I wanted. It is a plus to have wiring diagrams. I saved the price of the book in my first use in learning how to reach (and replace) the cabin filter on my 2009 Camry (dealer charges $25 for this simple task).Books of this nature save me the cost many times over even when it is investigating a repair to decide if it is something I should tackle or let a repair shop do it.

I went to get the oil changed and the mechanic told me I needed the cabin filter changed. They wanted $50.00. I bought the Toyota cabin filter, and the manual that showed me how to change the filter myself. I got the manual and the filter for under $40.00. It takes about five minuets to change.

Everything you need to know! I have a 2008 Toyota Camry v6 SE and it provides very useful information for repairs. if you are a DIY like myself, having a repair manual really helps.

Good for basic repairs, wouldn't rebuild an engine using it as it's light on some specs. Good enough for basic repairs like axles, brakes, etc.

I read this manual to locate the thermostat and find out the best way to remove it and replace it. But after reading this manual and actually looking at my car engine, I found that the procedure described was totally wrong! First of all it said to jack up the car, put it on jack stands, and remove the plastic panel covering the engine. Then it said to remove the alternator to gain access to the water outlet where the thermostat was located. I thought something didn't look right, because, after looking at my car engine, I saw that the water outlet was in plain sight under the hood from the top next to the AC pump and was easily accessible from the top without jacking up the car and removing the under panel. Man, I hope the rest of this manual isn't like this, Chilton manuals has really gone downhill since Haynes took over it!

I have bought these for every car i ahve owned and would tell eveyone that these are a must have for anyone working on your own cars.
