The adapter does work, but only last about a year.
I've gone through several of these over the years to keep my Roku Soundbridge alive, but the adapters only last about a year or so before failing. They aren't that expensive, but they should last longer.

This is a 4VDC to 6VDC power supply - the advertised claim is 5V exactly.
This 5V power supply should be listed as 5V plus or minus 20% to be honest. The product states 4 to 6 VDC, which I would never have understood from its advertised description. That is not fair. Fortunately I measured the one that I purchased and its output was 5.25V, only 5% off, and I was able to use it. What if the product stated 0V to 100VDC output, would you still advertise it as a 5V supply? Why not?

This ac/dc adapter works perfectly for my Roku2 XS. It brings my Roku back to life.

Waste of money!
I bought this as a replacement AC adapter for my Roku Soundbridge 1001. I plugged-in the adapter, the blue light lit on the adapter and the Roku started when I plugged it in. Nice. Fast forward 45 minutes later and the Roku is powered off and no light on the adapter. I tried multiple outlets and no luck. The odd thing was the adapter sparked on almost all tries to plug it into a wall outlet. Complete waste of money. Would not purchase again or recommend to anyone needing a replacement adapter for their Roku.

Adapter for Soundbridge M1000
Worked like a champ. I use my Roku Soundbridge all the time streaming radio and music files through my stereo system. Frankly I can't understand why Roku discontinued this product. It's a must for music fans.The only problem seems to be the power supply. This is my second replacement since the original purchase.

T-Power adapter for Roku Soundbridge M1001
Adapter works great as promised. Although I was shipped the wrong size adapter tip initially, T-Power made everything right quickly after I contacted them. They sent me the correct tip (2.1mm ID, 5.5 OD) within a few days. Very happy with the product and responsive customer service.
